We went there on purpose to have a Business Lunch Menu. It was excellent! The price is really justified (less than 40 Euros for three courses). The dishes are best cuisine and the kitchen is flexible enough to change the main course in its menu (if you do not like fish for example). We assume the dinner menu is of the same quality, plays in the same category and the price is reasonable for sure. We would recommend this restaurant. The ambiance outside is extra, you are sitting in the middle of a really nice garden. Inside the restaurant is showing its age (90's) but is still nice if the food is good. The service was well done, nothing to complain at all.

Why? Because the service is quite slow :) This is our second time to have lunch here. We love the ambience. They have small terrace behind the restaurant. I think for lunch itâs only in the terrace. They have around 8 tables outside. The food is good. Itâs right portion with their price. The menu is handwritten and (sometimes) they have menu of the day on separate paper. The service is only one old lady. She speaks only German I think.

This restaurant is - unfortunately - not in a location it deserves to be. It's right in the middle of a rather boring town in a modern-style building on the second floor. But if we ignore the surroundings, Fuzzyguy is pleasantly surprised by the nice layout, the contemporary design and the 'clean' overall presentation. The menu does not feature the typical dishes one may find in this part of Germany but a kind of international direction. For example: artichokes as appetizer, sea fish, NZ-lamb etc. The wine list also comprises local and international bottles. We were 5 in the party and were all satisfied with the food presentation, the amount served, the quality and the cooking. Service was swift and friendly and the bill did not spoil our good mood. The chef/owner, Mr. Rosskopf, is the son of former local No. 1 restaurant "Kranz" which has been under unsuccessful new (Swiss) management. Good luck to Am Burghof and congratulations for gaining the No. 1 spot in this town in a short time.
