Fabrice and Inès, the new owners propose a fresh and local cooking, the priority is on the quality and organic. The wines are also organic.
Probably the best meal Iâve ever had in Fitou and most definitely at Le Tout Vert. My friends absolutely concur. Weâve been coming here for over ten years and have never had an indifferent meal but honestly, tonightâs far outshone anything weâve had previously. The service was excellent and it was a bonus that the chef came to talk to us. A superb evening!

I would have compromised with the fish had I thought it merited its 32 euro price tag. So, for 23 euros I dined on a lonely carrot at war with an undercooked beetroot with a cress toupée. Tomato farci had had a while to wait in the oven (just as we did) and green (why green?) peppers weren't well married with the watery goat's cheese filling. However, as the owner so charmingly reminded us we wouldn't have left hungry if we'd had three courses (and not been so pedantic, I guess).MrsYou fly to the rescue of the previous notice. You allow yourself to come back to us hoping to discredit us but the photos and the previous opinions speak for themselves because your comments are just lies like the one just before you. You do not even know how to distinguish an organic farm product that tastes and think of eating quality products as in a canteen. You are not in the right place and are no longer wanted. Good to you.

In the luncheon desert that is La Franqui on a Monday, we came across this attractive restaurant a bit further along the promenade. After my (French) sister-in-law asked for a table, we were informed that only shellfish was available. Perfect! Nothing more had we wanted. An oasis? After presuming to take our seat and waiting 3 minutes for the rest of the party to park their car, we were then informed that they we no longer going to serve us. At 1:45pm! After first being grudgingly welcomed, we were turned out into the street like dogs.Fortune directed us, unknowingly, to a magnificent roadside auberge, where the service was excellent, as it has been in most places we have eaten in this region. Obviously L'Etang has enough business to treat clients like this. Avoid. It's just a mirage.
