Celebrated a colleague's birthday here. This was our first visit. Menu is a bit scary with prices and a foodie's description of food. Shared a salad which was unique in flavors but very nice. Ceylon ice tea was a real treat. Catfish is the house specialty and I can understand why{ very well presented and reasonably priced. Grits and okra were a very good accompaniment. Salt and pepper are not on the table but should be especially with grits. WARNING! Do not season the food before tasting it.

We were pleasantly surprised. Ambitious menu, but quality was there. Food is Mediterranean: a little Spanish, French, Italian...a couple of southern staples as well.Wait staff was excellent.Reasonably priced for what you get.

From the moment I stepped into this treasure I fell in love with the place. Hank and William were just a delight to talk to. Once Hank found out I was up in Wilmington temporarily for work, he took it upon himself to introduce me to the locals. I had the divine pleasure of meeting the new owner, Tom. He took the time to go over the history of this little gem. If you are looking to converse, try a vast variety of wines, and explore unique culinary delights, this is the place to go in Wilmington.

We chose this restaurant because of the interesting variety of meats offered. Staff and service were very friendly and efficient. The interior and furnishings look very worn, like a tired bar that gets heavy use every night. Interesting art on walls though. The unusual meat dishes were very heavily spiced so you really couldnât tell what the meat was anyway. The scallop entree that I chose was great though! Scallops cooked perfectly.
