Hallo,during a short break 2 weeks ago I went with some friends Merano. We visited inter alia the restaurant âRametzâ.Not only the ambience was very appealing also the price performance ratio was excellent!The menue and wine list is well chosen and clearly for everyone.In my circle of friends there were no complains. All were satisfied to the utmost with the food.Especially noteworthy was the service: friendly, attentive, courteous and unobtrusive, and very professional â particularly in advising food and beverage selection.In a next stay in Merano I will definitely visit again restaurant âRametzâ.This restaurant is especially recommended.Many thanks for the pleasant hours !!!!

Die Beschreibung auf der Internetseite hat mich neugierig gemacht. Was ich dann erlebt habe war einfach nur genial. Der Gruà aus der Küche mit den Speckvariationen war klasse, Das Speckeis, das geräucherte Wachtelei mit den Speckcrumble und die Speck Panna Cotta war ein toller Einstieg. Die Kombination von sizilianischer Garnele mit Mango, Chili und Krustentiermayo war ausgewogen, spannend und durch die naturbelassene Mango ein geschmackliches Highlight. Besonders auffällig ist, wie virtuos Tibor Sztepanek mit Texturen, Aromen und Geschmack umgeht. Die Kombinationen sind durchdacht und spannend. Ausserdem finde ich gut, dass Produkte die von Natur aus perfekt sind, nicht verändert werden, sondern stimmig eingefügt werden, in das kulinarische Erlebnis. Da ich fahren musste, konnte ich die Weinkarte nicht testen, bis auf ein wunderbares Glas Mille e una Notte, zur Begleitung des Rehrücken mit Pfifferlingen und Kirschen. Aber ein Gespräch mit Milan war informativ und machte mich so neugierig, dass ich mir für den nächsten Besuch einen Chauffeur besorgen werde. Auch sein Service war von anfangs schüchtern zurückhaltend bis zum Ende sehr warmherzig und aufmerksam. Leider sind die Räumlichkeiten etwas weitläufig und sehr rustikal eingerichtet, was für mich persönlich nicht ganz die richtige Umgebung für diese Köstlichkeiten war. Auch die musikalische Untermalung war nicht mein Geschmack. Vielleicht wäre die Terrasse besser geeignet. Ich komme bestimmt wieder.

Headed for this place as the one near our hotel (Pizza Pirri) looked to have closed down. It was a 10-15 minute walk from Hotel Garni Gunther. Doesn't look much from the outside as it is within the local sports Lido. Lots of locals eating in there. The staff were very helpful and did speak English even if we were managing in Italian. 2 Pizzas and 2 drinks were â¬21.50 (about £16). Cheapest meal of our trip and very enjoyable.Thank you for the good feedback, It's a pleasure for us to serve people all around the World so hope to see you again!

We went to this restaurant with my husband's elderly parents and they were delighted. There were also many young people eating there.The food was presented so well and originally and tasted fantastic. They bake fresh bread samples that they supply with the meals, and we had a salad and little entre taster as a " gift from the kitchen"! The staff were very attentive and friendly. It was not cheap, but also not outrageously expensive. Quite a homely atmosphere where you can feel pretty comfortable.

Iâm still amazed about the friendliness and kindness of hosts here in South Tyrol. No exemption at Pawiglerwirt... We went for some local specialities. Spaghetti from the chef (with deer) and geroestel (fried potatoes with pork meet) with Chanterelles Mushrooms. And the kids went for the Wienerschnitzel (from pork meet).The food was great! The view was amazing, so weâll have to come back.Every sunday in summer is BBQ Day. Here is âbooking-a-table-in-advanceâ a must!!!

This is a very, very good (fine dining) restaurant. The attention to detail, the service, the quality of the food and the setting are all first-class. The chef takes particular care to create dishes with local, fresh ingredients that are wonderful both to look at and to eat. The staff is friendly and helpful. The wine list is extensive with many quite good local wines at reasonable prices.A real plus is looking out the large windows across the picturesque valley to the mountains or simply gazing out into the night with no cars to disrupt the calm. The quiet and peacefulness of the setting is in keeping with the overall demeanor of the hotel itself. While the meat dishes are very good, I find the chef is particularly good with a wide variety of vegetables. The dishes are always interesting, colorful and well presented.

If you are not a local you might not know about Restaurant Krebsbach. Hidden in the village of Lana, Italy is an amazing restaurant that has a trout hatchery.You can order off the menu or catch your own, take it home or have it prepare in the restaurant. After dinner go out and sit on the benches around the pond stocked with trout, so relaxing, it doesn't get better than that!

It has been a while since we were there; but, we are planning to go back soon. This magnificent gem in the Italian Alps is a five star experience! Fabulous views, spectacular food, and the ambiance of a Hapsburgâs hunting lodge! This is a rare find while climbing the Brenner pass either on your way to Austria or visiting Italy. I took my parents there for their 56th wedding anniversary. The restaurant is very nice (I would avoid eating in the "stube"), very typical Tyrolean. The service was extraordinary and the food exceptional. I actually found it difficult to choose just one starter, one main course and one desert. The wine recommended was perfect and it was one of the more reasonably priced one. Book well in advance
