We were happy to get a reservation at this delightful, truly gourmet restaurant. I started with Hanleyâs black pudding, not something that would usually attract me but it was delicious. My husband had the quartet of crostini and raved after every bite. He followed with the potato gnocchi while I had the supreme of chicken and we both were delighted. Dessert was equally wonderful...The only blip might have been that we asked for tea and were left to pour our own cups from a very full exceedingly hot teapot that was hard to handle. But otherwise a lovely evening.

We ate in Foleys on begining of August 2019, we went in Foleys because there was an option for lunch with a special toasted gluten free.When we ordered the waiter told us that the toasted special, if gluten free, has no chips...it did not look that way from the menu, anyway we took one gluten free toasted, one nachos, one fish and chips and a seafood pasta.The nachos were overcooked and the fish was not crispy more like gooey, the pastas were very good according to my daughter.All in all, it was very disappointing, and to finish it all it cost â¬63 (we had one beer, a glass of wine and two minerals). Although the gluten free toasted came with no chips, as stated on the bill, we were charge for chips anyway...Pity, kenmare is brilliant and we ate before in other place and it was really good.

Very cozy spot with dark decor-the drinks were great-the food soso-service was spotty-waiter forgot to bring drinks until we were halfway through meal-but apologized and otherwise nice-there are better choices for pub food.

Having visited a number of Kenmare finest pubs the night before; we needed something substantial before trekking home and decided to try here. Initially ordered two mochas, which looked fantastic in the copper mugs, our curiosity got the better of us and asked to see the lunch menu. So glad we did! A fantastic Cajun chicken roll and quesadilla were devoured. Just what we needed. No frills, just good food. Even our little pooch was treated with a smile (although sheâs way cuter than I am anyway) we sat outside and she was immediately brought water and a little doggy treat. Little touches like that are what makes a good restaurant a fantastic one. Thank you very much guys

I'm Irish and was down visiting with friends in Kenmare. The food was fine, nice menu, pizzas, the lot.. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was a week day evening, incredibly busy with mostly foreigner tourists and the way the tables are set up almost comes across as a factory line smack on the Wild Atlantic Way... Make hay whilst the sun shines type feel.. The music was not enjoyable, some man singing ballads so loudly I couldn't hear my friends.. Felt like we were at a concert but sitting at dinner tables instead of an audience... Way more 'Irish' pubs to get grub in if you want to feel less of a tourist Won't be back for those reasons only.

Went on spec and was attended to quickly despite the place being busy.Classic Irish fare with a couple of Asian-fusion options.Staff very experienced and friendly and attentive.There were very good musicians playing Irish music in the middle of the restaurant and they were mellow and pleasant and played at a level that wasnât imposing. Fab Review ,delighted you had a great evening in Caseys , we continue to have music weekly ,then on Wednesday , we have Work Championship Irish dancers perform in the Restaurant , a must see if you are staying in Kenmare !Best Wishes Una Brennan

There is nothing bad on this menu! It is excellent, everything is packed with flavor and obviously made with love, the staff are kind and lovely. We had a fantastic dinner here. The staff were excellent, the food was of top quality, beautifully presented, and very tasty. It was a leisurely meal, no rushing, and a great atmosphere. The Beef Wellington was amazing, and I would thoroughly recommend it.A great find.
