While staying at the Ritz, we wandered down to the Burger Shack on DT Fleming Beach. We had numerous people tell us this was the âbestâ burger on the Island. I had the Aliâi burger ($24) and if this is the best in Maui, someone needs to train everyone on how to make a burger. I have had better in run of the mill chain restaurants. Bun was dry, meat was overcooked, the sliver of cheese wasnât melted and it was sparse on lettuce, tomato and onions. The sweet potato fries, however were superb and could have been the best Iâve ever had.View is wonderful and setting is charming right on the beach.

Me and my wife just loved this place!!! We went here everyday for brunch for a week and everything we tried on the menu was awesome..... the interiors are really funky, warm, welcoming and jazzy!!! The service was truly awesome...everytime...every day!! Apparently this place is cool place to hang out in the evenings too with live music, but we never had a chance to partake in it. We absolutely loved it, and it was a daily bright spot in our Maui trip :-)

Ohana Grill and Bar is just that. We weren't expecting a fancy meal. We really wanted something simple after our 10 hour flight and our meal, service and ambiance exceeded our expectations. It became a happy hour favorite for the remainder of the vacation.

Oyster Shooters are a MUST. Butterscotch pudding, was so wonderful. (I don't like butterscotch) Sit by the window where you can watch the turtles float around. I can't remember our waitresses name, but exceptional!! (sorry, we were drinking those wonderful Mai-tais) We went here twice, enjoyed it both timesAloha Kathy, I think this review is fantastic! Thank you so much for coming both times! The oyster shooters are a must and half priced for happy hour, just saying. I have told each of my waitresses this was about them just to make their day. Truth is they all do an amazing job. Mahalo!
