Things to do in Juba
Korok Restaurant is one of the best kept secrets of Juba. Their chefs have lots of experience in the best lodges and restaurants of Uganda. Cooking is their passion, not their job.
Korok is on the out skirts of town making for a "rural feel" to the visit. The food is good and the White Bull Lagers are cold so one cannot ask for much more!
This place is very cozy and serves the finest drinks in Juba. They also serve wonderful continental and Lebanese food fast. I would recommend this place to all living and visiting Juba.

I visited Juba Bridge towards the end of my six-month stay in Juba, and it was a pleasant revelation, after a long string of places that were either too pricy for what you get, or frankly too overblown in their reviews. At Juba Bridge, what you see is what you get, at decent prices, with helpful servers, very good quality, and in a serene environment to boot.Go for the Ethiopian fare on the menu, and you will not be disappointed.
The restaurant serves Ethiopian and international cuisine. Reasonable prices, large portions, tasty and varied food. Small minus that sometimes you have to wait long for food, but it is typical in Juba. The place is good for lunch, and in the evening, you can watch football matches on the DSTV channels. They have tables inside, outside, and part on the roof. International, African service.

I am not sure if the street name is correct in the address. Whatever map you look at has different names for roads in Juba. To find it go 1km South West along the dual lane road from the airport. It is pretty easy to find. This is an outdoor restaurant. They serve both international cuisine and Ethiopian. I had a pizza for a change which was good, but my colleagues Ethiopian food looked a far better choice. Prices are quite reasonable compared with other places.

The atmosphere is excellent, being riverside among lush forest is quite the experience. The service was also good. The drinks are a bit expensive for local rates, but in line with what westerners and Europeans normally pay ($6US for double shot of whiskey, $2US for local beers, and about $10US for mixed drinks). Tried eating there prior Sunday along with today, and no a la carte ordering, just buffet. 3600 local or about $12-25US depending on exchange rate for it and though limited, it was very good. The steak was tender and tandori chicken grilled and tasty, but jot truly tandori style. Though the steak was spiced to perfection. Side dishes were adequate and didnât try desserts.

Possibly the best and freshest Pizza in Juba - enjoyed sitting outside eating here ... Excellent choice of toppings and freshly made in the Pizza oven. Didn't go inside - just ate in the courtyard area. Pretty good value for money.

Cool and pleasant spot with an impressive mango tree at the entrance. Nice terrace on several levels so we sat very close to the river with the view of the bridge. Liver band on some afternoons. Drinks OK, we had some ginger tea. Service decent. The view of the Nile and the breeze are what makes this place a lovely spot for an afternoon drink / meal with friends
