Inspired by the local street food culture, Amaya serves an excellent buffet breakfast as well as exciting Asian and international dishes throughout the day.
I had the most pleasant experience organising and celebrating my mom's 80th surprise birthday a week ago at the Amaya Food Gallery. Mr. Rajeev and team provided first-class service throughout.I had to plan this party a month ahead remotely with Mr. Rajeev via text messages. Not only did he and his team not disappoint, Mr. Rajeev went further to swap shifts with his colleague so that he could be there personally to meet and serve us. What dedication! Not to mention Chef Patrick's delectable spread. All our guests were raving about the food especially the satay. We also appreciate the special table arrangement, not forgetting the thoughtful inscription on the birthday cake! Heartfelt thanks to all the staff at the Amaya Food Gallery! The birthday girl was moved to tears and we all had a very memorable celebration there.Dear kmcoolpix1305Thank you for leaving a fantastic review of your recent visit to Amaya Food Gallery, especially with regard to our team members' service efficiency and our buffet spreads. I'll be sure to share your encouraging comments with Rajeev, Chef Patrick and rest of the team as they did such a great job ensuring that your families and friends dining experience at our restaurant remained a positive one.I look forward to welcoming you back here next time!Murthi Muniandy Manager - F&B Operations

R Bar is the place to Meet, Mingle and Unwind. Live music entertainment, refreshing cocktails and stylish atmosphere make R Bar a great venue for the place to be seen.
People enjoy food at this Chinese restaurant because of nice environment, excellent service, and smiling faces from waiters/waitresses. I like the roasted duck, nice flavor soap and the mango flavor desert.Dear JifaZhuThank you for your review even though i believe you've written your review which was meant for our signature Chinese Restaurant, 'Wan Li' instead at our lobby bar called R-Bar.However, we're all under the same roof, team and management so the comments and good comments i must add on are most appreciated indeed.Do come by again and also drop by the R-Bar known also for it's great drinks, cocktails, snacks and ambiance.Best regards,MahadyExecutive Chef / Acting DOFB

I'm so glad to have found this lovely restaurant on Tripadvisor. There aren't many modern trendy dining options to choose from in Johor Bahru. This was a lovely surprise. My friend and I loved the concept, decor, food...basically everything. We ate foie gras, truffled mashed potatoes and fries, pork belly and asparagus...every dish was delicious. The owner is a lovely guy. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Johor Bahru. Don't go anywhere else
