West Side serves fish and meat courses, salads, vegetarian dishes, soups (in winter), desserts and breads made in the restaurant itself. Dinner is served on weekdays (Sun - Thu) from 7 - 10:30 PM (until 11 PM on local summer time). West Side is Kosher.
My friend and I are passionate food lovers and had dinner here last night based on Trip Advisor and another source that recommended this restaurant. It delivered! We ate way more than was necessary just because it all tasted so great. Strongly (!) recommend the brioche bread appetizer, the salad with the citrus dressing, and the grouper cold appetizer. The spicy peppers are HOT. Like almost inedibly hot. We ordered 7 dishes in all and agreed it was one of those meals that you will remember in your life.

The BlackOut Dark Restaurant, located in Nalaga'at Center at the beautiful Jaffa port, invites you to an exceptional culinary experience that will trigger your senses. You will be escorted by blind and visually impaired waiters to a meal in total darkness
First, you walk into the center itself and are greeted by sighted people who take your meal order while you purchase a drink from the bar. The meal options are listed or you can have a surprise main dish or dessert - if you choose the surprise, you will need to guess what it is by smell, texture, taste because you won't be able to see it. When it is your turn, a sight impaired or blind waiter/waitress has you put your hand on their shoulder as they escort you and your party to your table in total darkness (black). Just after I sat down, i started to panic a bit because your eyes are open, but you can't see anything. After a couple of deep breaths, I gathered myself and allowed my other senses to take over. This experience isn't really about the food or drink which are good, it's more about a personal experience for each person to figure out how to eat, drink, use a napkin, and pour water all without seeing anything. You will giggle at yourself and with your dinner mates. It's something a sighted person has never done, unique and special. Give it a try, you won't forget it.Also, they have plays performed by disabled actors which have received high praise which you can purchase tickets for.Thank you for the review. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed this special experience and would love to see you again in the future.

During our stay in Tel Aviv, we decided to dine at Popina. We opted to be seated outside and we did not regret it. Inside is nice but pretty noisy. Outside is not as fancy as inside but the most important was the meal. We had as a starter a shrimp burger, then a steam sea bass and my friend took the whole sea bass. For dessert, we took the passion fruit mousse and the yuzu tart (the mango ice cream was to die for). The whole meal was delicious, the service attentive and the staff was very nice. The wine was excellent.
