Our third visit to shangoâs (since May) and I have to say, itâs one of our favourite restaurants. Service, as usual, spot on - staff very attentive and polite. Pizza bread with tomato starter excellent, lasagne absolutely delicious. My wife had the sirloin steak and it was perfectly cooked to her taste. I highly recommend this restaurant.Sincerely appreciate your taking the time to write such a lovely review for us and very pleased that you enjoyed dining with us. Hope to see you again soon. At last a decent restaurant in Banus!We had a delicious meal starting with Beef cheek in chilli and chocolate sauce, followed by suckling pig with jus and delicious slow cooked lamb. All of the food was executed brilliantly. Wine with our meal was very reasonably priced . The service was great and Eric (not v Spanish I know but he assured us he was) the chef and proprietor along with his mum run a first class establishment. Hidden away in a nice part of Marbella is this wonderful and low profile restaurant. You always know you are on for a good dinner when you turn up and itâs full of the Spanish, and everyone was dressed nicely. The decor was simple but authentic but when you look down to see the individually designed plate set on a snakeskin matt, you know you have something creative coming...... and thatâs exactly what we wanted. You have to choose the Grand Taster Menu which includes 7 tapas, fish, meat and 2 desserts (on top of aperitif etc) and what a bargain it is at â¬60 a head. You are treated to some very modern style cooking techniques, whilst incorporating traditional, local AND seasonal flavours. The fun part is that you let the chef decide what he wants to cook to showcase his skills, and this time we actually got all of the expensive items off the menu.All of the courses were delicious, cooked perfectly, and artistically presented. A kaleidoscope of flavours touched our pallets that included wagyu beef, spider crab, foie gras, hake, mussels with asparagus soup, iberico Ham, artichoke with scallops and tuna soufflé being the highlights...This was an absolute fluke of a find but you can understand why itâs one of the best restaurants in Marbella. What a fantastic treat.

OMG - what a fabulous restaurant- staff and the head guy Fransisco Nabas are amazing- food is to die for - amazing flavours!!! Treated to an excellent wine decanting display that was absolutely stunning and really brought the recommended wine to life - believe me you need to trust him, his knowledge and passion is outstanding - we would definitely return

Booked this well in advance and requested a balcony table which we got. The balcony is very small only has 3 x 2 seater tables but itâs very nice to look down to the orange square. Thereâs only really one of the tables where both of you can see the full square, but Iâd try to book this if you can. Inside the restaurant is very dark and traditional.Food was lovely, garlic prawns could do with being a bit more spicy or more garlic maybe, lamb was lovely. My husband has the special starter which he loved, but the duck he thought was too sweet. Wine was very good, a white Rioja!

A memorable meal at the cosy Caperuza for our family of 4. The service of Gaberiela and her team was warm and professional, the location of the restaurant in the old-town of Marbella was very nice and the quality of the food just fantastic. We tried the scallops and deep-fried prawns for starters and had the pasta of the day (linguini with truffle sauce and parmesan), fish of the day, the duck and the beef for mains. We had this place recommended from some friends of ours, but it still far exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended and well worth the visit.

I read about this restaurant in Trip advisor and was interested so i made a reservation. We were not disappointed. The service was great, the atmosphere pleasant and the food different and exceptional. We took the waiters recommendations on most choices. Thank you very much for the visit. Me and my friends really enjoyed the food here it was delicious, however the sizes of the dishes were not what we expected. We ordered 2 dishes we were advised were to share but were frankly no bigger than the tapas we ordered (the side of vegetables consisted of 2 carrot sticks). When we came to pay we also found that weâd been charged for bread that had been brought to the table without us ordering with no suggestion that we would have to pay for it. We had really enjoyed our dinner but were just disappointed to be charged â¬45 for 3 very small dishes and 3 small glasses of wine. Dear customerFirst at all I have to say you are missing information because you never mention that one of the dishes to share you order was a Sea bass boneless with mashed patato and vegetables and the vegetables is not the main food from the dish is just as a garnished or to give color to the dish. The main product are 2 filets of sea bass with no Boâness for only 13,50⬠witch on my opinion is the chepeast fish in Marbella. Secon dish was a portion of prowns pil pil with a side of fries for 12,50. And as well you had a portion bravas, 3 glasses of white wine not small glasses as you mention because we do from a bottle 5 glasses of wine and you had 3 of them and a bottle of water. Of course as we are restaurant we did warm bred with garlic maioness and we charge for it. You should know when you go to restaurant the bead is a service nobody ask you if you want or not. From now on maybe I will do it just to avoid the problems with People like you. And the bill was not 45 was I think 42,30⬠. And of course I would never say 2 dishes and a tapa would be enough for 3 people. And the price you paid here just a little bit less you pay in Burger King with artificiales drinks, frozen fries and a burger witch I would never have. I would recommend you to reconsider your review or if you donât have at least 20⬠each donât go to a restaurant.

As some other people have stated, you would not expect that a restaurant next to a supermarket parking lot would hold the grade. Really nice staff/owners, great service and really good food. Local to our rental apartment so worked well. Please do give it a try for a relaxed dinner when you canât be bothered to go to town. 10/10Thanks for your nice and beautiful review is always a pleasure to meet nice and good people from everywhere special a good eaters We have a small place but full of a beautiful and beautiful families friends...Million thanks we hope to see you soon x

Very high ratings on Trip Advisor are totally deserved.We had an unusual request....birthday lunch for 16. We ordered a birthday cake and flowers as well as the usual stuff.Joy (who communicated with us to plan details by email) was excellent - both responsive and flexible on menu. So that was ahead of actual visit.Visit itself was excellent - the wait staff were friendly and efficient, the chef? (Dutch gentleman) was very friendly also. And the food was very good - particularly the starters ....beef carpaccio and goats cheese salad were both top notch. Finally the atmosphere is nice also with inside and outside spaces (outside under shade).A really good experience overall. Would highly recommend for special events but also weâd recommend visit for a more âstandardâ type lunch or dinner. Food and service Iâm sure would be same high quality.First of all many thanks for choosing Cascada Cocina & Bar to celebrate this very special occasion.
