Ioannina (Greek: Ιωάννινα, Greek pronunciation: [io̞ˈɐ.ni.nɐ]), often called Yannena (Γιάννενα, Greek pronunciation: [ˈʝɐ.ne̞.nɐ]) within Greece, is the capital and largest city of the Ioannina regional unit and of Epirus, an administrative region in north-western Greece. Its population is 112,486, according to 2011 census. It lies at an elevation of approximately 500 metres (1,640 feet) above sea level, on the western shore of lake Pamvotis (Παμβώτις). Ioannina is located 410 km (255 mi) northwest of Athens, 260 kilometres (162 miles) southwest of Thessaloniki and 80 km (50 miles) east of the port of Igoumenitsa in the Ionian Sea.

Accademia is cafe, bar, restaurant.... I had dinner there but a couple of years ago... I will not review that night. I am reviewing a night a month ago, when I went for some glasses of wine. The place is very nice and has good service. However, (comparing to other similar places in the town, with the same style and prices...), their wine list is small and their accompanying finger-food struggles a lot... thank you indeed for your comments. however I must reply to you regarding our wine list and the accompaning food. our wine list is reviwed from experts on wine commenting that the variety is good enough trying to combine domestic and european tastes. the accompaning food I have to say that for a drink is quite satisfactory since there ara no similar places were food is one of our priority!!!!!

Alexandra is a great host! Although bringing you the right bill at checkout is not her strong point :-), she is absolutely perfect at explaining the different beers and burger details! Fantastic music, classic rock and similar.. A quite unique place not only for Ioannina but for Greece as well, it resembles an old English pub but the food is better.. Expanding the menu with some more draft beers will add a lot of value here! Not cheap but the quality worths the prices.

The service was amazing. The waitress was smily and very kind. We were very tired and dirty, with messy hair due to inventory we had that day, and had eaten nothing. She understood our need for food and relaxation and helped us with what we wanted. The dinner was served in a reasonable time barrier from the moment we ordered. Great atmosphere for people who love cinematic luxury.

From the friendly service to the absolutely mouth watering menu, it also has a playground for children to be entertained for hours... Having been there twice I can say it is my favourite place to go in ioannina. The food was so good you actually can't stop eating... If in ioannina you must go!!Thank you for your review . Comfortable and closely supervised area for children and carefree moments for parents is our obligation to the client. Our dishes are cared for to please even the most discerning guest. I loved this place. Top of my list in Ioannina. Excellent food and service, modern look. All-local clientele when I was there on 8 September 2018 â not surprising, since TA had reported it closed. Itâs very much open. Some people have said itâs hard to find, tucked away in central Ioannina, but I had no trouble with the help of an iPhone. Food is contemporary Greek, big salads and mains all worth sharing. With decent wine, about â¬20 a head.
