Ho assaggiato le specialità di questo rifugio alpino presso i mercatini di Bolzano, e non presso il rifugio stesso, tuttavia posso dire che la bontà del cibo è veramente elevata. Ho assaggiato le patate arrosto cosparsi di formaggio caldo fuso e speck croccante, veramente invitanti alla vista e ancorpiù gradevoli al gusto. Bravi!

I can see that all the other reviews here are in another language, so hopefully this will be helpful to english speakers. First and foremost: you must go here!!! This restaurant provided us with one of the best meals we had in the whole of our three month European trip! It is run by a lovely couple, and the staff are dressed in traditional Austrian clothing with not a hint of irony. The whole place is filled with locals, who come to watch the football and have a pint in the bar, or have a meal in the peaceful dining room. Yet, everyone speaks English and they were not at all unkind about our inability to speak German. But the best part is the food! Tirolean food is an interesting hybrid of Austrian, German and Italian fare - you will find a lot of pasta set beside sausage dishes and a lot of cheese! It is to die for. If you come here, you have to pre-order the fondue a day in advance, and you wont regret it! It includes the meat which you cook in a heavenly broth, home-made dipping sauces, chips, salad and garlic bread! It is a feast for two if I ever saw one. Oh, and leave some room for dessert, because they have some really delicious ice creams - try palatschinke, a traditional dish with a pancake and ice cream. Do note that the fare is a little expensive - about 20 euros per person for the fondue. But this is usual, and it is worth it!

Table for 12 booked at lunchtime for 7:30. Group holiday - âday offâ from tour. Really friendly, everything right, loads of choice with 4 pages of pizza options and plenty of vegetarian choices. Prices very good and considering how busy the place was really swift service. Really enjoyed it.

After a cross-country skiing tour, this place was Heaven! I drank an incredible hot chocolate and I also had the most amazing cappuccino I've had lately. Prices were incredibly low in comparison to all the other bars/ apres skis I've seen in Austria. Staff always made sure that everything was all right + they fluently spoke Italian, German and English. All in all - best Apres Ski :)Hello,Thank you for your great review. So far I took two meals: a pizza and a typical one. Both were really, really good. The service is all good also, a very kind and helpful crew. The price is absolutely fair also. I certainly recommend the Mondschein ;)

We found this place accidentally as we did not plan, the small town are going to have a very good restaurant. The burger is one of the best and amazing Pommes frites also the typical schitzel. the decoration are lovely and also delicious. The chef and staff are so nice. They quite surprised that found us, asian from Thailand here. We also surprised how good the food here little town as well.It was very lovely to getting to know you!
