Discover Restaurants offering the best International food in Hanoi, Vietnam. The charming Vietnamese capital has aged well, preserving the Old Quarter, monuments and colonial architecture, while making room for modern developments alongside. Hanoi may have shrugged off several former names, including Thang Long, or "ascending dragon," but it hasn't forgotten its past, as sites such as Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum and Hoa Lo Prison attest. Lakes, parks, shady boulevards and more than 600 temples and pagodas add to the appeal of this city, which is easily explored by taxi.

A beautiful, cosy quiet haven in the heart of the Old Quarter. I found myself here most days having beautiful Vietnamese salads for lunch. Green mango salad with pork and prawns sustains me for $4.20 AUD.The dressings are exceptional. The Cha Ca is as good as any in Hanoi (I've visited four times over six years). At excellent Koto where it also comes as make your own fresh rolls, they use fish cakes and here it is whole pieces of fish. The staff could not be more lovely or helpful, offering ideas for Hanoi and food ideas throughout Vietnam. Seriously, I was so tired on my first night I got lost looking for them. When I found my way back to my hotel they sent a staff member round to c collect me.Say hello to the wonderful Luyen, Phoung and Duc.Dear Customer! I have a drink with my colleagues in this Jazz club.Note that it opens only from Tuesday to Saturday. Sunday and Monday are closed. There are not many tables but the atmosphere is nice with live jazz music. However if you would like to talk with your colleagues with business, then you better ask the servers whether you can have a drink outside of the jazz club (i.e. next to the basement lobby). They have a very extensive menu of alcoholic beverages and selected food. All are presented in a nice way.Dear Edward-AA,Thank you for your recommendation of Cool Cats Jazz Club with the Trip Advisor community!I am very delighted to know that you spent an excellent night with great atmosphere⦠However we would love to hear your feedback in order to change this 4-star experience into a 5-star one upon your next visit.Thank you once more for the feedback and I sincerely hope to welcome you soon again at Cool Cats Jazz Club!Warm regards, Nicola VeroneseBar Manager.

Jasmine Restaurant serves our dear diners traditional Vietnamese Cuisine in an innovative presentation. Everyday we used fresh and safe ingredients from the local market that make our food are chosen with care and cooked with love by the talented chef. We
We had a great family dinner at the Jasmine restaurant. Since the kids were sick of Vietnamese food, we decided on some burgers and chickenfingers. The burger was fantastic - though a bit small. The chickenfingers were nice and crispy, a large portion. My husband had the creme brulee and I the Hanoi style yoghurt with black sticky rice as dessert, again both just delicious. Staff was super friendly, the cocktails we had (classic mojito and a caipiroska) some of the very best we ever had. Prices are quite expensive though, 4 mains, 2 cocktails, 2 desserts and 3 softs: well over 2 million dong (around 80 euro) and that after a 10% discount, That is a lot for Vietnam. Quality and service were undisputably high though, so guess that comes with a price.

What delicious food is served at this restaurant. We had dinner here many nights while we were in Hanoi. The food was always served hot, with fresh ingredients. The Duck was very delicious, and the price was reasonable for the quality of the meals.

Located in the heart of the Old Quarter, Garden House 2 combines the best of traditional Vietnamese cuisine and Western inspired dishes. Our menu offers a creative range of meals, including a separate vegetarian/vegan menu, all at very affordable prices.
This was probably the first meal in Vietnam we had that really was not the best. Ban Xeo is deep fried and lacks the flavour we've found in others. Stir-fry was a bit better. Our waitress Ha was lovely though. In short, if you want good Vietnamese food, there are better options but it's not the worst either!
