Reviews on International food in Faro, Algarve, Portugal. Faro is the best-known city in Portugal’s deservedly famous Algarve region. There’s an archaeological museum and a “Bishops’ Palace,” a Renaissance cathedral that was heavily bombed during World War II, but later rebuilt. Nearby in Estoi are Roman ruins, and Albufeira, also nearby, is a formerly quaint fishing village influenced by the Moors in the 8th century. It’s situated in a cliffside location, and has become famous for its beaches (there are 20) and nightlife.

The concept of this new space in the city center of Faro in born from travels of these two unusuals animals in distant and foreign lands. Beyond memories and fantastic human contacts, they brought back culinary and music experiences that they want to shar
Came to pig and cows for my girlfriends birthday. lillia was an amazing host. The duck confit was incredible and the cod was beautifully cooked. They made an extra effort to explain the menu and even brought out candles and sang a Portuguese happy birthday! Had an amazing time here. Thoroughly reccomended to anyone visiting faro!

We went there after several recommendations by locals in Faro, who defined it the best place where to eat fish (and especially Cataplana) in Faro. The expectations were met, if not exceeded, and the food was brilliant. Also the portions were very satisfactory. Definitely one of the top places in Faro.

Stumbled across this gem because our original choice was closed. Alfresco dining available but we decided on inside. Quirky but got some great touches especially the 1970 colour ITT tv. If you enjoy Tapas a place for you but need to be chilled as gets busy. Staff very friendly and lovely touch at the end with a free white wine port. Another to add to the list.
Nice decor and attentive staff. I had the burger with goat cheese and cured ham. With a glass of wine this made for a satisfying meal. I finished with the hot strawberries in syrup with green peppercorns. This was a new take on strawberries which Iâll certainly try at home. Hello Edwin1957! Thank you very much for your visit and for recommending us! Good luck trying our recipe! I really hope it works! See you soon! :)

The Wax Restobar gives you unforgettable moments! Just join sun, beach and good company in a single space with drinks and delicious snacks.
Once August over great place for a casual lunch. Friendly good service extensive reasonably-priced menu which should appeal to anyone.Personal preference believe it is best for varied entrees, excellent, rather than main course pastas which was a bit disappointing.Overall difficult to beat relaxed atmosphere and tasty snacks. Definitely would go back. With great joy and gratitude we read your comment. Our recognized work motivates to see !! We're working to keep it that way.We hope to see you more often :)
