Popped in again for an early supper We had the pasta Limone with a side of broccoli. Others had the rosemary chicken. Pasta Limone is very basic and delicious. Simple and great flavors. Broccoli cooked perfectly. Chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy, also excellent.

Unexpectedly found Baumgarts on way to concert at Bergenfield Performing Arts Center. We were in the mood for Chinese, but this restaurant also offers a good selection of other meals. Great, old-time ('40s or '50s) diner/restaurant architecture inside. You can imagine a young Frank Sinatra taking a date to this place on a Saturday night. It probably hasn't changed much since then. I had lo-mein noodles with vegetables - very good. Friend had sweet and sour chicken - (a little too sweet). And prices were reasonable. Next time I'm in the area, I'll be sure to visit again.

Yep- it's hot outside but inside is cool- Staff so nice, i can give my feet a rest and enjoy a coffee and bead pudding, read my Jane Austin, and Watch Manhattanites pass by outside. When in New York, my friend and I had the opportunity to dine with Linda. She served an amazing menu of Congolese food. The ambiance was warm and welcoming, and our hosts were just delightful. We had great conversation and great food! Our starter course was a delicious salad with fish, next we enjoyed fufu with sweet potato greens - absolutely wonderful! Our entree bone-in chicken over rice with a sauteed onion and mustard sauce. We finished with strawberry crepes which were light and delectable. Overall, a fantastic experience, which I would repeat in a heartbeat.
