This is not a restaurant review! We only visited the excelllent terrace overlooking the river Maas and just had a few beers and a plate of snacks which was arguably the best value plate of snacks we have ever sampled. Hence this "very good": if the restaurant matches the plate of "tapas", we would be very glad to have dinner as well.For less than 10 Euros, two people shared an "borrelplank" and got a miexd plate of seafood (salmon, mackerel, calamari,...) meat and cheese with several dip sauces and bread. An eclectic beer menu provided a dangerous temptation for people who were bound to be on the road and who have a drink-drive conscience.

Restaurant One never stops surprising. Having dinner there every year, we are still very happy customers. It's worth the trip to Roermond. We had the full menu this time. Beautiful amuses, sea bass ceviche (what a killer!), cod, veal and more. Dishes look beautiful and taste great. Great eye for detail. Word cannot describe the experience. Nice selection of wine (and they are pour generously). Informal, very friendly staff. Nice ambience in old industrial building. Only a smalle 'mistake': why no asparagus the menu? The regional gold... and, just in season.Well thanks for taking your time, we as a team really appreciate it. We love to hear from our guest everytime they dine with us, if there is anything else we can do, just let us know and we be on top of it, again. See you soon at ONE!

The menu for the hotel guests was really nice and tastefull. Just have enough patience if you are alone.The wine menu isn't motivated, but they have good wines

Hier met vrienden op een social deal gegeten. Binnenkomst meteen raak. Vriendelijke ontvangst, je bent welkom. Leuke keuze uit gerechten. Je verwacht wat kleinere porties maar nee hoor. Mooie porties goed klaar gemaakt. Tussendoor de vraag of alles goed was, niet opdringerig of zo. soep erg lekker van smaak. Spareribs heerlijk, visgerecht mooi op smaak. Desert ook erg lekker. Conclusie. Gezellig en leuk restaurant, top bediening en goed bereide gerechten, beslist een plek om naar terug te gaan. Ook zonder social deal is het dubbel en dwars waard.

On a bicycle trip up LF3, we overnighted in Roosteren. On the way to our hotel, we passed the Kasteel Eyckholt and stopped to check out the menu. We made a reservation for 7 pm that evening.A table had been prepared on the terrace, of this converted convent, where we enjoyed drinks and appetizers.The presentation on all aspects of dinner were stunning. You can order fixed price or ala carte.I tried the chefâs selection and was not disappointed. It began with a salmon appetizer, followed by beef and culminated in a dessert of sorbet and fruit.The wait staff was attentive and engaging.If in the area, donâ t miss a delightful evening.Thank you for having dinner at Kasteel Eyckholt and your very nice review! It was our pleasure having you as our guest. Hope to see you another time.

Whilst the food we had was Ok it was not the best value for money. What I found very annoying was we ordered drinks and asked for tap water as well (it was 36 degrees and we had been cycling all day). I cancelled my drinks order in order to be able to have water! Other restaurants happy to give a jug of water in this situation.Dear Sally, Thanx for your review and visit.Glad to hear that you're food was ok. Its indeed our choice not to serve free tapwater. I used to have a very good experience with this restaurant, but I was quite disappointed during our last visit (with the whole family). Service was below expectations, not too friendly, while prices were relatively high .... Maybe we were there on a bad day ........
