Discover Restaurants offering the best International food in Easter Island, Chile. Located in the South Pacific more than 2,000 miles off the Chilean coast, Easter Island’s not the easiest place to reach. (If you’re interested, the easiest access is by air from Santiago or Tahiti.) But isolation has helped preserve the 1,500-year-old mysterious congregation of volcanic rock sculptures (maoi) that’s the island’s biggest claim to fame. After exploring the unique landscape, relax on an uncrowded beach and ponder one of the most mysterious places on Earth.

I had my daily buffet breakfast at this restaurant during my stay at the Hangaroa EcoVillage and Spa. I also ate lunch here twice. The buffet breakfast in the Poerava Restaurant was a great way to start the day. Along with fresh fruit, cold cuts, and cereal, there are hot items. There is also an egg station for how you want your eggs prepared. For lunch, I had a chicken entree the first time and for the second time, I had a sashimi appetizer and a tuna entree. I was very satisfied with both meals. The service was friendly and efficient. The staff understood and spoke English. The view of the ocean from the restaurant is quite scenic.

This review is about the lunch and evening meals we had there rather than breakfast (we were staying in the hotel). The menu was varied, with a good selection of starters and mains. The ceviche was exceptionally good, tuna mains and steaks were cooked to perfection only disappointing meal was the pasta, which was bland and small.Wine list was OK, good range of beers too (though not many of each.)So why only a rating of 4? The attitude of the front of house guy. On our first visit we had a very pleasant young lady who did a very professional job. Every other trip we got this guy. OK, our Spanish was limited but this guy made a point of not slowing down or giving us any help and made us feel very uncomfortable. And he wasn't even that good a waiter, taking the wine away and not putting it in a cooler, disappearing and leaving us with empty glasses etc. Quality of the food meant we enjoyed the meals, but there were times we saw he was working and almost turned away.Iorana MaritchiWe are very glad to hear about you, thank you very much to share your comments here on Tripadvisor. As you mentioned the restaurant has the best options and with really good ingredients, that makes you meals very special.I´m sorry that you didnât have a good experience with the service, I gave your commentary about it to the restaurant team to make the changes and improve, thank you very much for your observation. Was really pleasant to share with you and I invite you to keep travel thought of Chile and enjoy all the destinations that Noi Hotels has from the desert to the south of this beautiful country.Best regards, Ana Huke

We stayed at the Hanga Roa hotel, so the meals were part of our package (although we did go out one night). The food is fresh, and the service is of high quality. We were at the hotel 4 nights, so we got bored of the menu (hence going out one night). Fresh pasta is really good, terrific options for sauces. Chocolate Lava cake was really good. Drink menu is very extensive.

Had fish and chips and a very strong pisco sour! Chips were good - fish less so. Rather tasteless. They have quite noisy patrons here so itâs lively. Efficient service but fairly basic decor and tables with a sea view. Not special but ok.

Te Moana is a full-service restaurant that offers Polynesian cuisine of the highest quality and hospitality characteristic of the area in a sophisticated atmosphere .
We literally just walked into this place after going for an evening stroll at sunset and were pleased to be seated immediately before the sun had gone down completely. Surprisingly, this was the only restaurant where we encountered other Yanks on Easter Island. The restaurant was more full than any of the others we'd eaten at on Easter Island and service lagged a bit because of that (I think they might have been understaffed that night). Didn't really matter what with the sunset and all. The steaks we ordered were cooked perfectly and were very generous in size, making the place a fair value for the diner. Wine was inexpensive (as it is everywhere in Chile) and tasty.

WELCOME TO KANAHAU. We are located on the main street of Hanga Roa - Easter Island. We offer a delicate and tasty food with a lot of creativity : Seafood, fishes, pastas, meat... Our bar offer the largest choice of cocktails, alcohols, and wines of all th
This restaurant is on the main street. It also offers a folkloric show a few nights during the week. Their menu is extensive and I had the tuna which was very good, but I had the distinct feeling it was yesterdayâs tuna and not that fresh. With a lemonade and a bottle of water, the price came to 33,000 pesos (approx. $44.) This is one of the first things you learn about Rapa Nui -- it is not inexpensive!Food at higher-end restaurants like this one is imaginatively prepared, with good, professional service.

We booked this before hand since the sunsets were supposed to be quite nice overlooking the Moai at Ahu Tahai. We had a table by the window. Service was a bit slow but the food was good but not exceptional. Service was ok for service since we were in no hurry but there was a very irate gentleman next to us who was very unhappy. It is a bit of a way to go but worth it and it is easier if you have a car.Would recommend it.
