Find out what International restaurants to try in Dushanbe. Translating to "Monday" in Tajik, Dushanbe was once a tiny mountain village known for its Monday market. Today that village has become a metropolis, but the Barakat covered market remains one of the most vibrant attractions in the city. Dushanbe's wide, tree-lined avenues are home to a number of monuments and museums, including the Unified Museum and the Museum of Antiquities, as well as a beautiful opera theater and myriad cafes and teahouses where visitors can sample Tajik sweets.

Come and try the first pizza in the style of New York in the heart of Dushanbe. Hot from pizza oven pies, also sold on slice. Your perfect choice for a quick lunch or family dinner. Free delivery available.
Was great to eat some good pizza while traveling. A good range of pizzas not just the standard ones which you normally get. Toppings were fresh and delicious. Staff were friendly and spoke English perfectly. My only complaint ( if you can call it that) is the smallest pizza is still huge. When eating alone it was hard to finish...

Wonderful restaurant/bar with fantastic service and great blues/jazz playing. Very passable American-style hamburger. The bartender is absolutely phenomenal. We had various cocktails, and all were top notch.

Grill@48 has very tasty food at reasonable prices. I particularly liked the creamy soups, Greek salad, and Indian dishes prepared by a special chef. The restaurant is very spacious, quiet and peaceful. There is an outdoor (but covered) section. Service is very courteous. Food preparation is not fast as the chef prepares each dish fresh and the presentation is quite artistic.

I really enjoyed the dinner in Panorama Restaurant. Me and my husband went there a couple of times when we were visiting in Dushanbe. Enjoyed the life music evening on Friday and dinners in the summer terrace. The food was delicious, i tried Japanese cuisine and my husband loved his stake. Good service, lovely personnel. Went there with our 2 year old daughter, all the waitresses were nice and helpful. Overall excellent atmosphere!
Our office held an away-day planning meeting in the restaurant. The food was good (Tajik & Indian) and the conference room good for up to 10 people. The price was unbeatable for the quality - room rental free if they catered for coffee breaks and lunch. They also have a good catering service for off-site events.

Tajikistan has yet to catch up with the western anti-smoking culture and we had to look around for a table that wasnt being polluted by the neighbours. To be fair the waitress kept her promise to keep smokers away from us. Cosy (ie small) restaurant with a lot of wood and an upstairs zone. The walls included pics of sci-fi scenes but quite tastefully done. There is a small stage where they had a singer with backing tapes - his choice of material didnt match the logos of the classic rock bands on the wall behind him though, and it was quite loud for us, seated near the PA.Good selection of standard meat dishes. My "rare" was more "medium" but it was tender and tasty. Like most restaurants in Tajikistan you have to order vegetables separately. Service was good, and I felt sorry for the waitresses having to bring all the food upstairs. I would return here if I were in town.
