At Sir Harry's, there is a restaurant, lounge and hall. It offers a magnificent view of the Fleuv e Congo, a beautiful setting and personalized service. On the 6th level, open-plan restaurant offers a varied menu; Continental, Indian, Chinese, pizza and B
The restaurant is located on the sixth floor of a modern building in an open air terrace with a good view of Kinshasa and the Congo river. The food portions are aplenty and fairly tasty but not on the cheap side, especially considering that the establishment still charges you at the Dollar equivalent of 1000 FC when it is exchanged everywhere at the rate of one Dollar to 1220 FC. My other concern is that the restaurant seems to be a sort of Jack of all trades, but not really master of none. There are too many types of cuisine listed for the restaurant's chef to be exceptionally good at any, The overall decor of the restaurant seems also out of character with the type of cuisine offered: Egyptian sculptures and hieroglyphs?? Last bot not least and despite the modernity of the building, the apparent pipes here and there, the broken tiles in the mens room, the wobbling faucets mar a feeling that could otherwise be near total satisfaction
Maison Des Mezzes is located in the Greek Community of Kinshasa, R.D.C. , behind BIAC on Boulevard du 30 Juin.
I've been here twice now, and both times enjoyed the food. Today we got a sampling of several appetizers, all of which were delicious. I also got the chicken souvlaki in a pita, which was very good. Prompt and courteous service. There is a Saturday afternoon buffet for $15. Ample parking. This place can be a bit difficult to find, as it is off the bldvd, beside the church and through the parking lot.... so I took pics so I can find it again.

The restaurant is beautiful, in front of a swimming-pool. For the food, I am really sorry but something went wrong. I ordered humus, falafel, Lebanese bread and taboulé. My friend ordered chicken legs. When we received our dishes, we found out that there wasn't any couscous in the taboulé. We called a waitress but she couldn't understand what we meant. I am a native French speaker and my friend is fluent in Lingala. We called the manager. He came and we told him that we had never seen or heard of a taboulé like that. He nodded and said he would ask the cook to make another one. He left with the false taboulé. We started to eat the chicken legs, with humus and bread. We weren't pleased because the chicken was too greasy and the humus too oily. About twenty minutes later, another waitress came to our table with the very same taboulé that had been brought away. "Is this a joke?" I asked. - No, it wasn't a joke. They had brought back the false taboulé! I tried to eat a little bit, but it felt like eating grass... Well, and a few hours later, I got a stomachache and I had to throw up. A very unfortunate story... Something went wrong.

Caprice restaurant & terrace is an all-day dining restaurant with an international buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner and choose from an a la carte menu that offers a wide variety of international dishes. The restaurant's terrace offers you a variety of s
From the terrasse, the view is astounding. It's a very good spot to have lunch or dinner. There are many waiters. It seems that some are only there to welcome guests. Others will show them where to sit. And a third group will take orders. I don't have anything to say about the first two groups of waiters. They were polite. I was just surprised everyone was so specialized. When I asked the waitress who showed us our seats for a couple of Cokes, she said that she couldn't help us, she didn't take orders. We had to wait several minutes to finally meet a waiter that could get us something to drink. I also ordered fish and chips. My friend loves penne. She ordered penne with tomato sauce. The waiter said it wasn't possible. The tomato sauce was only available with spaghetti. I showed him another dish on the menu with penne. "That proves this restaurant serves penne," I said, "just ask the chef to cook penne with tomato sauce." From his attitude, I understood he didn't know that "penne" was a kind of pasta. I googled "penne" and showed him an image on my phone. "That's penne," I said, "just tell the cook and he will know what to do."Twenty minutes later, the man came back to us. What do you think he brought? Fish and chips on one hand, spaghetti with tomato sauce on the other hand. "What about the penne?" My friend asked. He looked as dumb as if he hadn't understood anything of what I had told him. We ate, but my friend was disappointed and said she wouldn't come back... It's a pity! I would like to ask the management to make sure the waiters know the menu. In the 21st century, is it serious for a waiter who works in a restaurant that sells Italian food to ignore the word "penne"?Dear Mr. Steeve,Thank you for your important feedback; I would very much appreciate the opportunity to speak with you directly. The experience described in Caprice is not up to our high standards. Please contact me at your free time at [email protected] I can assure you that I will do the necessary to ensure we earn back your good favor. Le Cercle gourmand is the most beautiful restaurant in Kinshasa. It is located inside the golf course, 500 meters beyond the restaurant O Poeta, when you come from the Boulevard du 30 Juin, on your left-hand side. The lighting is perfect. The paintings are very original. The tables, chairs and everything else as well. I agree with the other reviewers: once you are there, you don't feel you are in Kinshasa anymore. The service is pretty good too, but you need to be careful when you pay. I had to pay $113. I gave them $150. How much do you think I got back? - $16. I am not the best at arithmetic, but come on! That's too obvious! In other words, you need to double-check. As far as the food is concerned, we chose the Menu du Chef. It was the cheapest option: $50 per person for three courses. For drinks, we had a tonic ($5) and a pineapple juice ($9). We started with a delightful soup, then my girlfriend had chicken with risotto and I a captain fish with spinach and potatoes, and for dessert we both had a feuilleté aux pommes with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. All these dishes were a true delight for our eyes and for our palates. We had a very good time there and I really advise you to go for a special moment such as a birthday, an anniversary, a proposal or something of that kind, or for an important business meeting. Enjoy!Steeve,Thank you for your nice comment. Of course concerning the return of money from your bill, we will immediately inform the people in charge and we apologize.Rest assured that your comments have already been shared with all our employees. We look forward to welcoming you again at the Cercle Gourmand, and would love to meet you on this occasion.Very Sincerely,Stephani Goepfert

Chez Gaby serves an authentic line up of Portuguese cuisine with a personal touch. Mr. Gaby himself takes the initiative to welcome you to his establishment and also caters to your dietary needs. One must try the sumptuous steaks; great wine list. For desert, try the home made chocolate & of course to cap it all... great cigars.

I had the pleasure to eat twice in the restaurant Orchids. French cuisine is the base of their menu. The plates are just amazing! I've decided to taste the duck with fruits sauce. Incredible dish. Also, I had the pleasure to taste to dishes of my colleagues and believe me, they were incredible. If you are in Bukavu, you must go to Orchids to have lunch or dinner. It's expensive but worth it.

The chalet offer local and international food into a moderne cadre with an amzing garden and view on lake Kivu. Buffet every Sunday from 12h to 15h Buffet Pita or Lebanese every Wednesday before Djo's Bar. Happy hour form 7PM to 8PM evry every Wednesday.
The only thing good in Le Chalet is that it is where all foreigners meet on Wednesday for the buffet. But buffet: very average food even if cheap comparing Goma prices standards.Pizza is one of the worst in Goma. Call it a tart but that is not a pizza.Menu is poor. Meat arrived too cooked.Happy hour at the bar cover only few drinks including watery cocktail. Not recommended at all except if you want to meet people from all NGOs and organizations in Goma

Sea food French Gastronomie
So there is this rather stylish place serving a few classics of French cuisine in Kinshasa. It's not experimental, ist not new, it does not pretend to be anything it is not. Straight in your face honest old style cooking at its best. Lobster ravioli, veal fillet and a dessert made s perfect meal. Rather highly priced, but acceptable for what they serve.

Went there on Sunday for the lunch buffet starting at 13:00.Friendly welcome, food is very good and you have a large choice of meals. For 30$ per adults, I think it s a good value for money taking into account the prices in Kinshasa.Room for improvement in the place itself. The facilities could be renovated, it would not arm...
