Find out what International restaurants to try in Delft. Vermeer’s birthplace and a true gem, Delft sits between The Hague and Rotterdam in the country’s southwest. The city’s name comes from the Dutch word for digging, fitting since canals are a highlight here. Others include the 13th-century Old Church, the 15th-century New Church and the Prinsenhof, once home to William of Orange and now a museum. Delft has long been a center for fine ceramics, and traditional hand painting methods can still be witnessed at Koninklijke Porceleyne Fles.

Visited the reataurant again (since 3 year!). It is still a crowd going there over the weekend. Make reservations in advance. The service is very nice and relaxed. Waiters take their time (if you need the tiem), It is a very enjoyable place which serves good meals and enough choices. Menus are written on a chart board, which will be delivered at the table.Prices are very reasonable.

Please call us if you don't see online availability. Located at one of the most charming little squares of Delft, LEF is an old time favourite of urban residents and students. At their terrace, it literately feels like being on the beach and during summer
After several less than exciting experiences with eating in Netherlands we were extremely pleased with LEF. Recommended by the proprietor of Bea and Blue, we trundled on down full of expectations. They were not only met, they were exceeded. The intimate seating, the tasty, quality food, the attentive service. A quality operation.

We visited this recently opened restaurant in the centre of Delft and were not disappointed. Finally a restaurant with a bright, airy modern, comfortable space and design. The cuisine did not disappoint either. Creative fish and meat dishes nicely prepared and presented. This restaurant sets itself apart from many of the other "better" restaurants in Delft. The wines were fine but a wider list of upscale choices would be appreciated. The service was professional and friendly. All in all definitely recommended.

Possibly been having refurbishment recently; we had to use another establishment's toilet across the road. So we had the amusement of, temporarily, no 'English' menu; the waitress not speaking much English; and us not speaking Dutch. Yet somehow it all worked out. They are very friendly and I took a guess at the menu. So I can thoroughly recommend: the salad (potato) and the rabbit (or hare??) for starter; and the beef and the veal stew for mains. I would rate the food as being very 'homely' or good honest comfort food. Decent portions, really tasty - and I think a pretty reasonable bill at the end. Do try this place.

Restaurant VOC is situated in the historical city center of Delft. The ideal place to enjoy a good glass of wine in our garden, or a cup of coffee at the bar. During diner we serve French cuisine dishes with a modern twist.
Table reservations are advisable at this popular place. Very good quail. The portions are quite small, you feel supposed to go for the four-dish meal. Good wine list. Fine location at a canal, bit the interiour is not too fancy.

Huszar is a cosy and comfortable cafe-brasserie where you can enjoy fair-trade and local products for a fair price. We serve breakfast, lunch and dinner 7 days a week. It's also a very nice place to just have a drink. We serve 30 types of Dutch beer, 5 on
nice place but with a limited craft beer selection. 5 beers on tap including one from Kompaan. About 10 bottled beers. There are much better craft beer places in Delft. . You can sit outside on the water. There's free WiFi.Besides 5 beers on tap, Huszár has a fine selection of 40 bottled beers. All beers are from Dutch microbreweries. Please have a look at our beer menu in Huszár or at the beer list on our website.

This historical venue is a brick, vaulted ceiling treasure. Previously a town square weighing centre (1300s). We sat at a table on the raised floor. The service was good and the food lovely. The portions were generous. The dish of the day and dessert were good value, although not as expected! The pork steak looked more like a ham hock, but it was tasty.

Since 1979, a cosy "eetcafe" in the historic city centre of Delft. Loved by locals, students, tourists, young and old. Offers illy coffee, homemade cakes, fresh organic lunches. wine, beer and a tasty dinner for good prices!
A hearty and tasty meal served by pleasant waiting staff. It was a home-cooked meal away from home. If you are looking for good food, service and value - I will definitely recommend you pop in at 't Walletje. Welgedaan!
