We found the Casa de Cha by chance, walking in the gardens around. We decided to stop and have a drink sourrounded by trees. We were surprised by the fact the the prices were so low comparing to Italy or France, but the most amazing thing we discovered is that the place is managed by a local association working with people with disabilities. Our waiter, one of them, was very nice and cool. We went just for a beer, but the lemonades and the sandwiches that other people where eating looked really delicious :) Definitely recommend it! Thank you, guys! Great that you liked it and hope you come back one day!

Ingredients and quality products and carefully chosen to provide good sensations, with relaxed atmosphere and surrounded by good mood.
Very relaxed and luminous space, with witty decoration like repurposed apple boxes that serve as tables and bookcases. The burgers have light and elegant ingredients like guacamole, not very common i think, but very tasty. There's also the vegetarian burger with quinoa, which i never thought would be so yummy. The staff is very friendly, 5 stars.

This is one of the finest eateries in town. The restaurant is located across the river in Santa Clara along the main road to the mall right under a pedestrian walkway. The restaurant menu has a good variety of regional and national dishes. The food is well served with a modern and creative Twist. The place also has an excellent bar with superb cocktails. They're closed on Sundays, parking is not a problem there is a side street along the main road with Parking on both sides. The place can romantic, use the Last dinning room.

Restaurant where you can have a very good meal and taste a good wine.
We went here our first night in Coimbra and I have to say it has set the bar very high for any other restaurants we visit. I had steak with mushrooms that was melt in your mouth delicious and tried out cheese with pumpkin jam for dessert which was amazing! The service was also fantastic and they had our party of five set up in minutes even though we didn't have a reservation. I do recommend calling ahead though, because it's likely we just got lucky.

Located right in the centre of Coimbra is this small Portugese restaurant. The staff is adequate. We found it all in all a bit basic, definately not bad, but I expected more reading the excellent ratings on Tripadvisor. The menu is Portugese. I had the lamb which was okay. The food is good, but lacked some imagination. I had better during our holidays in Portugal.
