Amazing accidental find for us. We were feeling a bit under the weather and their creamy rice and parihuela (seafood stew) were generously filled with seafood. Carlos, the owner stopped by to welcome us, while his friend sang ballads guitar I hand. Highly recommend! (Also went to Central the night prior, and sole for sole this place has it beat!)

Visit this restaurant with my son and daughter this past sunday , at the beginning everything was fine, and we ordered our food, so far so good. And the it came you surprise. we had a tortilla de papas to share, it took over 15 minutes. For second the order was: Stake tartare, lomo saltado and gnocchis a los 4 quesos (four cheeses)Believe it or not, I had to go to the kitchen to try to find out what was happening , it was over 45 minutes and the waiter just kept saying I am sorry, you have all the reason to be mad. This is the second time this has happened to me in the last 2 months and as you can imagine, I am not going backThere are lots of place in Larcomar to have a good meal, this is not one of them

This is a fun, raucous restaurant with very fresh seafood, outstanding ceviche, and great drinks. The waitstaff did their best to accommodate our last minute reservation and was gracious throughout.Hello Luna24,Thanks a lot for your visit.Best regards

This restaurant was featured on a popular TV show home in Norway,so we really wanted to try it. Off course you come primarily for the food, but also for the experience in general. Their ceviche is apparently world famous,so off course we tried it. And YES,it was excellent! So was the Lomo Saltado, and the chicken with fried rice. And portions are big enough to share.BUT: Not in many years have we ever had slower service than at this place. We sat for 30 minutes without anyone even giving us as much as a seconds attention. Finally I had to loudly call one of the waiters to come over. After putting in our order we sat there another 20 minutes waiting for some bread and water, but when we started looking at the other tables, we saw that they didnât have any. Apparently that was not customary. We werenât asked what we wanted to drink with our meal, but finally managed to flag down the sommelier,so we could order some wine. There were a lot of waiters milling around, they just didnât do anything. It was almost as if it was a game to try and overlook us. But the guests at the neighboring table had the exact same problem. I have said it before.Sometimes when a restaurant gets to famous, I think it might go to the staffs heads, that they work in this famous place and therefore are entitled to act in a certain way. It is a fine line between un attentiveness and arrogance. I think no restaurant,no matter how famous can afford for their staff to treat customers this way. Food was excellent, and prices are very good.

Wow. One of best lunch meals Iâve had in a long time. We shared four plates plus dessert - really great range of regional cuisines. And for the food, was fairly reasonable (about 50US)

Generally one eats very well in Lima, but Tragaluz is the exception. I had a dish of Andean fish called cervice on the menu but was fried fish bites. Then a grouper that had been ruined by an indescribable sauce. Since the restaurant is attached to the Belmond Miraflores Park Hotel, a superb hotel where I was staying, I expected similar quality but was wrong. One does much better in the mall 5 minutes down the street, especially the Popolar where the fish is expertly preparedâ and without the offensive gook.Dear Sam MI was very sorry to read that your experience was less than satisfactory, but thank you very much for your feedback: we constantly strive to improve our service and food, and your feedback is vital in helping us to achieve this.We are very sorry for this experience and we are making the necessary corrections.Once again, thank you for your feedbackKaren Carrillo

We enjoyed the barbacoa and chicken tacos. The staff are very friendly and the tacos ate delicious! Unfortunately the braised pork tacos were sold out. We would have loved to try those. In all a great shack to enjoy tacos and beer. Nothing beats that. Recommended.
