Em ótima localização, no centro de Caxias e junto ao Hotel Blue Tree, o restaurante tem um ambiente requintado, acolhedor e muito tranquilo.Fomos muito bem recebidos e atendidos por todos, destacamos no restaurante a Dida e o Alex, duas simpatias!A entrada era uma salada super bem preparada. Escolhemos alcatra e risotto quatro queijos como prato principal (que estavam ótimos) e de sobremesa pettit gateau e sorvete de creme (o melhor que já experimentamos)O local tem estacionamento com manobrista.

Fomos ao Mulino por indicação de um amigo e nossa experiencia foi agradável. O local é bonito, ambiente bem decorado e bastante aconchegante. A comida estava apenas "ok". Pedimos o pato na laranja que estava dentro do esperado e um filé com uma massa recheada que veio muito salgado. Não provamos sobremesa.

We've visited this place in a week day and it was almost empty turning our dinner in a very exclusive experience. The place is very well decorated and we've stayed beside of a fireplace that gives a romantic atmosphere. At this ocasion there was only a five course chef's menu that was incredible. Try a local wine with your meal.

The restaurant is in a small place with a few tables. Nice and cosy atmosphere. It only opens for lunch from monday to saturday. On a buffet type, you can choose what you want to eat and they serve you in a plate and take it to your table. You can order something different, like a shrimp and rúcula (linguee) pasta and chef Rech will do it for you. This is the kind of place that should be kept secret, cause I hope it will not get too crowded when people find out about it.

A visit to the Lacave is a great experience in Caxias. The old castle is beautifully restored and in the dining room you feel like attending a banquet in the Middle Ages. However, you should be able to speak Portuguese ... there is no English menu and the staff can not help also. Apart from this the dishes we chose 'blindly' were delicious and the glass-house champagne and wine were wonderful. The rest of the two bottles we have taken home ... ;-)
