Four of us visited last night, none of us are vegetarian but we often eat veggie food and were looking forward to a change. It wasn't awful; but it was disappointing, especially considering it bills itself as Vegetarian and Vegan food 're-imagined'The appetisers (cauliflower pakoras, lentil cakes & samosas) were decent, very large portions with a price to match. Two of the four main courses were disappointing; the Indian vegetables were tasteless and unimaginative, carrot, peas and potato in the flavourless broth with rice served on the side; not a vegetable curry or biryani as hoped for. The lentil dal was very thin and served in a bowl with no accompaniment, when I asked the waiter if it would've come with flat breads or chapattis or similar, I was told I could've ordered some bread. £40 (for 2 people) for two courses of this quality feels a little steep to me. The other two main courses ordered by our table were better; Tofu ritos and the veggie burger. The intent is good, but needs more work...

Had a drink here every day and ate here a couple of times in the late evening when we didn't fancy a proper restaurant. Pizzas were great and really good value. We shared a large pizza between us which was more than enough. We had several Ice coffees in the area, and Bonaca without doubt, definitely served the best ones.

Our family party of 6 covering three generations from 3 years old to over 60 came down from our holiday villa in the hills of Konavle to enjoy the night sights and sounds of Cavtat and to grab a cocktail. The Elm restaurant and bar seemed to be a nice place, right next to the posh, luxury yachts in the harbour. Although very full with holidaymakers, we were lucky enough to secure a table outside with 6 chairs and place for our patient dog. Each of us ordered a different snazzy cocktail. Mine was a decent enough margarita. The waiter was a cheerful chappy and came quickly with our order. We then settled down to a serious spell of people watching, chatting and generally relaxing. My teenage son, with his virgin cocktail, amused himself by checking out, on line, the details of the numerous luxury yachts moored just across the promenade in the harbour. We quite liked the one which you can apparently rent out for a cool 230,000 Euro per week (excluding crew). Not for us, unfortunately - I was a already a little taken aback by the bill of the equivalent of 50,00 Euro for our one round of drinks. Oh well...

We were staying just over the road and have called in at various times of the day for various things as well as having a take-away. We have sampled mussels, pizza, pasta, lasagne, stuffed hamburger, chicken with Gorgonzola sauce as well as pancakes all of which were very tasty.Chicken with Gorgonzola sauce is particularly good. The mussels are big enough to share as a starter and the spaghetti bolognese or carbonara listed as warm appetizers are big enough to have as a lunch.Draught beer is good. A small beer is excellent value as it is not 90% of the price of a large beer, as it is in most places. The first white wine we tried was a litre bottle of Posip { pronounced Poship } which we have stuck with as it's very drinkable and good value at 110 Kuna. I have worked my way through the many local liquers some of which are better than others. Some could be used for cleaning windows!!Staff are friendly and efficient and did a great job of trying to squeeze everyone into the restaurant when the terrace couldn't be used due to the rain.Apologies for the rambling but credit where it's due.

Our group ate here the last evening and we had a pre-set menu. The service was friendly and professional. We had cream of broccoli soup, a nice salad & vegetarian lasagna along with house wines. The bread was the best I had there. We ordered desserts from the menu. The location was at the end & out of the way.

Iâve been to Cavtat quite a few times and eaten in this restaurant on several occasions and it never fails to impress, menu is a bit different from the norm in Cavtat but it is extremely good and varied, I would highly recommend this restaurant, Robert and his staff are very friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble for them.
