Reviews on International food in Carolina, Caribbean. Once an important center for sugar production, Puerto Rico's fourth largest city's current fortunes come from its factories. Intriguing nicknames for the city of nearly 200,000 include The Land of Giants and Arm Hackers Town. Situated on the island's north shore, this Atlantic city is considered part of the metropolitan San Juan area. Popular attractions include Carolina Beach, Casa Escute art gallery, Caribbean Raceway Park and Isla Verde Mall. To make the most of your visit, consider renting a car.

I past by this place several time but finally decide to give them a try. The place was pretty empty but I think it's new to the area. My daughter and I was greeted and sat at the table. The food was really good. We both had great meals. I would order the chicken mofongo again. We even had some leftovers. Service kinda slow but worth giving it a second chance.

Valet parking, great ambiance, good service, great food and superb key lime pie. Cane to this place very skeptical, because heard different stories and experiences about it. We had “croquetas de bacalao” for appetizer and a glass of “Tempranillo” wine. They both were delicious. Then I followed it with a salmon which was very good and seasoned perfectly. To top it all, the lemon key pie was great. One of the best I had tried lately. Hi Isoto620,We're happy you took the chance of visiting us despite the stories & experiences. Our croquettes are very requested by our patrons on our daily specials, so we do offer them quite regularly. Our desserts are all prepared on the house, from the famous key lime pie to our ice creams (we also sell them to-go on pints). We take much pride in our service & food standards... So, thanks for sharing your experience with the world.Hope to see you again in the near future!

Went yesterday to celebrate my birthday, asked for Veal with Risotto. The Risotto was very good, the Veal was as hard as leather....For me, it was not veal. I told them, and they changed it for another thing, and didn't charged for the Veal, they charged for what I asked 2nd time which was very good since I ate the risotto. The service was poor, I had to ask for our beverages, and there were 2 flies, I had to kill one, and told them, they did nothing. They said they had a tough day, but no excuse is good.

We went to this place looking for a twist of Latin-Puerto Rican food. They definitely delivered! Every dish we tried was amazingly delicious! My wife had a 4-course dinner due to restaurant week, and every course was great; but the butternut squash soup was out of this world. It was followed by a tuna appetizer, then gnocchis with tuna and a capped with a deconstructed chocolate cake with pistachio ice cream.Even the kids got to experience deliciousness with white rice with coconut oil and maracuya: boneless chicken wings with passion fruit glaze. All veeeery tasty! I had the salmon with basmati rice, which had a variety of fruits and almonds. One of the best rice dishes I’ve ever had! The service was also great overall and prices were not bad at all for the quality of food. Definitely, a place to come back!!!
