We had an hour to kill until the bus to Funchal so we stopped here for drinks and snacks, as itâs right next to the bus stop. Good coffee, beer and garlic bread, very friendly service and good WiFi. Obrigada! Wi fi grátis!

Bistro is a pleasant place to meet friends, where you can drink a few glasses and share snacks. Here, our tidbits are carefully prepared by Chef Wagner Sá and presented by Ruben Noite serving team. In our Bistro the food is genuinely made with products fr
Weâre not an easy family, I am a vegetarian myself and my brother has IBS (irritatable bowels syndrome) so finding a place to dine can be rather difficult. The menu offered a lot of choice and 4 vegetarian options as well. The service was just lovely, the staff is very friendly and above all, they just want to make sure that you enjoy your evening. Tonight my brothers bowels starting acting up so he was not able to finish his meal. The concerned staff asked if there was anything wrong with the food, anything else they could offer and even how they could help him. I would highly recommend this place since the menu is a great variety between local dishes, dishes that should be on every menu and vegetarian options.Dear Mr./Mrs.,Thank you very much for your visit and for taking your valuable time to share your experience at Mercado das Tapas. We get most products from the next door market, Mercado dos Lavradores, We give main concern to the freshness and quality of our products. Our daily goal is to exceed the clientsâ expectations and your kind words show we succeed and that is our best reward! Thank you very much!We look forward to your next visit and wish you all the best.Kind regards,Mercado das Tapas Team

I dined with two other family members in September, and we enjoyed this restaurant very much. We all had seafood dishes which were fresh and wonderful. Mine was three pieces of seafood served over a butter-rich black (squid ink?) pasta and it was amazing! Anyone visiting this island should try this restaurant.

Absolutely brilliant place. We just wandered past it a couple of days ago and thought it looked nice so booked in . We were disappointed it was amazing. Staff were really knowledgeable. Particularly liked the black scabbard fish and banana with a difference. Went into trip advisor and was pleasantly surprised that it is number1 restaurant in Funchal !

A new Restaurant with a modern and minimalist space using traditional and local materials with endemic pieces. Food is local to the island of Madeira with a couple of mainland and international dishes. A high quality service provided by our experienced st
Quirky little place with interesting decor that is basically down a back alley! We were advised to order off the sharing menu, which was effectively one main and one side per person. We got some delicious garlic bread to start and ordered shrimp with lemon and garlic, chicken with soy sauce and ginger, sweet potato micas (mashed sweet potato with shredded cabbage and chorizo) and a mixed salad. The food was tasty and full of flavour, although what we ordered didnât quite compliment each other as a meal. For deserts, we ordered a lime semi frio and a chocolate semi frio, which was both very nice. The lime had a nice citrus kick to it.The staff were very friendly and our waitress spoke very good English, although the place was deserted while we were there!

Bistro & Grill ⢠Restaurant ⢠Unique space in Caniço, Madeira Island, where we find a home cooking and cared for.
Recommended by fellow traveller a stone's throw from our hotel. Offers speciality ales and delightful tapas. Portion sizes enormous. See photos! A labour of love for the owner, a chef who will bend backwards to give you tasty morsels and a very bubbly waitress. Went last night going again tonight. But please don't tell!Dear TinaThank you very much for your visit and good mood. We hope to meet again.Thank you!!!

This company is in the market for 5 years Serving a lot custumers around de world And making custumers very hppy
We visited here because of non existent service just down the road. Here, although only one member of staff front of house we were made immediately welcome and our drink order was taken right away. The recommended filet steak on a stone was excellent; succulent, tender and very tasty. The salmon steak and salad was OK, but this is real a meat eaters restaurant. The ambiance is a little quirky, but in keeping with the meat/western theme I guess. The steak was good value for money.
