I had wedding here few years ago..but what happened to my brother-in-law made me so angry.. i am proud on my brother-in-law and my father-in-law how they managed to control themselves. My wife and I different kind of people who force people to do what they promised with enough time to spare. Other people who don't fight for their own rights that hard and on time could easily get hassled. What happened..owner stalled with menu price for weeks and 8 days before weeding she stated price that is bigger than in Zagreb top hotels. I understand someone will say you should be smarter and insist for price before fixing date.. wait for it.. when they confronted here and ask for price explanation she said that prices of meat were high (maybe they are but not 40% higher than in local shop where you can buy 100g and she is buying at wholesaler on kilos) than she said she forgot to reduce price for drinks since it is only from dinner..to cut story short..when in the end they asked her how can her own menu which is from lunch and has almost identical food on it, cost almost 20⬠less, she didn't reply anything just said please dont raise tensions. Unfortunately few days later we found out that she raised price for another couple just 2 days before wedding. Also another couple cancelled theire wedding there since she wouldn't say the price. It is disgraceful to act like that since it is primary wedding place and it is bad karma to steal from people for once in a life time experience knowing that they will never return. Hope that this story will be heard.
Top 3 Central European food in Cakovec, Central Croatia, Croatia
A good selection of meat and poulty dishes served in a wonderful ancient brick vaulted cellar.
This restaurant is located in an old brick vaulted medieval cellar. It is absolutely beautiful and a truly wonderful venue. There were only three other people there who were just finishing their meal as we arrived so we were the only two clients. The waitress was helpful and very charming and we ordered our meals. So, the only people the kitchen staff had to look after were us two.My wife ordered soup. It came in an impressively large plate but with only a tiny bowl in the centre for the soup itself so she got hardly anything to eat. IT WAS COLD and not very enjoyable.I ordered some chicken stuffed with cheese etc. IT WAS ALSO COLD as were the round potato slices which came with it. I am convinced that they were deep frozen as the glaze on them would not have been achived in a nornal kitchen. We complained and sent it all back asking them to warm it up but It still wasn't that warm when it was brought back.Pity really. Nice place but they need to get their act together.

The story of Palatin restaurant is set in the very heart of Varaždin city. The restaurant lies at the crossroads of BraÄa RadiÄ and Stanko Vraz street. The word "Palatin" was first mentioned in Roman history, and is continued to be used in the present. Sp
Three hours before arrival we call them in order to reserve table. We picked up three course dish from promotive menu âOkusiâ (Tastes). After 45 minutes we get soup, 1 hour after soup we received main dish. Main dish was almost cold. Taste was ok, but nothing special. And for desert half hour later we received raw paste (on picture). We argue with waitress but anything she has been saying was sorry. After raw desert we paid bill and left. We spent more than two hours of sunny afternoon for three course dish in half full restaurant. How is it possible that it is listed on 1st place in region??
A small cafe with a big history. Since 1966, we've been serving you the best coffee, the sweetest desserts and most unusual snacks and sandwiches, and providing you a cozy shelter from the hustle and bustle of the city.
