Famous Obchodna street is not as attractive place as you would like it to be (it has some potential). Even we enjoyed the vibe today a lot sitting next to tram line. Main thing - food was great. Superb curly flower and broccoli soup, tried pulled pork and duck version of jacket potato’s. Well prepared. Very tasty and creatively presented. Excellent wine as well to it.

Alright I’m going to start with the miscellaneous wins and work my way up. The bathrooms, super clean and smell amazing. The seating itself and decorum is very bohemian and vibes well with the modern aspects of Bratislava. The food is divine. Their lunch special costs the same as a meal at McDonald’s and tastes ten times as good. Do yourself a favour if you’re in the mood for pasta and order the pasta Tortufo (if it’s on the menu still) as it is impeccable. Seriously good and a great value. The people are incredibly friendly as well.

Big, tasty, french crepes! Salty, sweet, and also gluten-free. Take-away or you can enjoy it at our cozy terrace. We are situated in the center of Bratislava.
Great crepes to take away for a walk around the city center. Petite creperie offers variety of crepes both sweet and savory, where you can always find something that fits your taste.

Re:Fresh is in Bratislava old town on the road down from St Michael's gate. It is a music bar serving food late into the night, but it rouses itself to serve tasty breakfasts and lunch. There is plenty of inside seating but also street side tables where we ate in the sunshine. There are plenty of beers on offer but also fruit based drinks. There is a wide choice of vegetarian food and clear marking for gluten-free, vegan etc but there is also meat. None of the dishes seem to loose out on flavour. The vegetarian insisted we made a repeat visit. Service was friendly and efficient. Prices were in keeping with others in the neighbourhood.

Blue Bear is a new american-style restaurant with focus on beer from small breweries, steaks and burgers, located on the ground floor of new mixed administrative and residential development Blumental (in the area between Mytna and Radlinskeho Street), close to main transport junction Racianske Myto. Interior is spacious and clean, good selection of beer, food was acceptable but not exceptional, however this was a first visit and the place is still new so the jury is still out.

From now on Michalská Street you will be able to enjoy a variety of coffees, homemade cakes, craft beers and wine from the best local producers. You can also try our fresh meals that were made with love of our cooks.
A lovely venue with friendly hospital staff. We made the mistake of going here for dinner - the portions are small! It's probably better suited for light bites or lunches. A word of warning too - the salmon bowl would probably be better named as a Sushi bowl as the salmon is raw.

This place needs a name change. It should be called The Burger Pub! To be fair it's not really a pub either, more a bar/bistro. Anyway, I have never had such yummyness (and calories!) in my life! A quirky, buzzing place with friendly and very efficient service. Affordable too! What else could you want!? If you like beer too, there seemed to be a lot of that going on too.

We arrived at 13:45 and the waiter told us that we could only order the daily meal because a large group would arrive soon. We sat down and the waiter arrived after a few minutes with a terrible soup and he went away (for the second times) without asking if we wanted something to drink. Fortunately we had a little bottle of water that we drunk during the all lunch (I want underline that the costumer saw our bottle but he didn't ask us if we wanna something to drink). After ten minutes (in which we didn't know what to do, because we didn't know in what the daily menu consisted) he arrived for the third time with a spicy goulash (but I don't like spicy food so when I sat down I asked him if there was something spicy in the daily dishes and he told me that there wasn't, so I couldn't eat my meal). In the and, we had to attend 10 minutes at the cash desk waiting to pay this terrible lunch (and the costumer saw us us different times but he didn't care). We were absolutely disgusted by the meals (my boyfriend that likes spicy said that the goulash was acid and it didn't taste well) and by attitude of the costumers. It was chip but I honestly prefer to pay something more but don't go away still hungry.

Maybe we hit a very off night but very poor experience here. Service is shocking and food is solid at best. Asked to see tasting menu 3 times with no joy, then finally got it and first course arrived a moment later even though we hadn’t ordered yet! Local fizz was strange and served warm (but in ice bucket), still water was sparkling, took ages to get the bill. Restaurant was half full (see, I’m a positive person!) on a Friday night and easy to see why.
