Recommended by locals, and it didnât disappoint. The food was excellent and the portions were perfect, not too much, not too little. Excellent wine list and great prices (a third off on Fridays, and we took advantage of it!). Delicious deserts too. Best meal we had in Beaufort!

Located across the street from the Maritime Museum on the Historic Beaufort Waterfront. We offer floating dock access - come by land or sea! Reservations are recommended for large parties, generally 12 or more people.
Went for lunch. Nice spot overlooking water. We both ordered the crab cake sandwich. Spouse had eaten the crab sliders before so we were really looking forward to our meal. The fries were hot and crispy. The crab sandwich was boring. It tasted like a crab cake with no crab meat. I am not sure it even had crab meat in it. Maybe just egg and bread crumbs. Really bad tasting. The best part of the meal was the Pain Killer drink. This was the best one on the Beaufort waterfront. We like to eat at Finz but will never order the crab again.

Had dinner there last night. Were celebrating my birthday. Our first visit. Parking tip: There is limited parking behind the Inn in which La Perla is located. Was easier to find a spot there than on the street. We enjoyed every morsel of our meal. This is not a casual burger and pizza place. Service was attentive except that server several times reached across me to serve my husband, saying "Excuse my reach." There was plenty of space around the table to serve him without passing plates in front of me. We will definitely be there again for the food is a fresh twist on familiar menu items. Hi, We are so glad that you found us and chose us to celebrate your birthday. We really hope that you will return to dine with us - the server that you had on this trip is no longer with us. thanks again!

Went for dinner on Saturday night. It was early so the restaurant wasn't too busy yet. Love the live music by saxophonist. They also have a piano and sometimes have live pianist.Bread basket appears to homemade. Buttered with parmesean sprinkled on top. Ordered filet mignon medium well temperature, came with 3 red potatoes. Not sure if it also came with a green, but wanted salad and charged $5 for a house salad. Steak was cooked medium well, seasoned and tender. $30 plus $5 for salad. Also got shrimp and grits. Plated beautifully in a bowl with bacon. Shrimp cooked to Perfection, grits in a nice firm cake with fresh mushrooms and herbs. An alfredo sauce covers a dish. $20Also got macaroni and cheese small plate. It's homemade with bechamel sauce and melted cheese on top in a skillet. It was okay but I would prefer a little bit of kick like some black pepper or maybe pepper jack cheese. Pasta shape was rigatoni, would prefer actual macaroni. Pasta shapes are smaller than rigatoni and easier to scoop up with a spoon. There's just a flavor layer missing to my palate. $11Two entrees, one small plate, and a soda was $75 including tax.

A personal chef service. Also gluten free options.
We had the fish tacos and the grouper bites. Way too much food, we should have shared.. Delicious! FYI, they only accept cash. We had to find an ATM but it was worth it. Fun place, very non chain fast foodish. Felt like going back in time!
