A largely traditional Austrian menu with plenty of choice, but cooked with style and lighter than you might fear. We booked in advance (for 8 people), and the restaurant was packed when we arrived. Very friendly service, and a generally happy, cheerful vibe. Best food we ate in St Anton. Good value too. Highly recommended.

We were able to book a table for dinner and were greeted when we arrived. Linda (our waitress) immediately offered us drinks and even made a dark 'n' stormy for us despite it not being on the drink menu. She was and amazing waitress for the whole evening making our dinner even better. All the food we had was amazing and in plentiful portion sizes. I honestly don't think you can go wrong at this restaurant the service was amazing and the food was delicious. Would certainly come back here if we were ever in St. Anton again.Thank you for taking the time to rate our restaurant. We would like to thank you very much for your wonderful feedback. Nice that you have felt comfortable with Linda and us. A praise of our guests is the most beautiful award for us. Thanks again for your visit! We look forward to welcome you back soon. Kind regards and all the best to you from St. Anton Family Gohl and your Pete Team

We came for an early lunch about 12pm and had some great food, the portions are enormous! It was quiet at this time and people don't really start arriving until 3-3.30ish. We were served by Yannick, who looks a mix between Lorius Karius and Thor, so obviously a horrible looking chap. He was brilliant and kept drinks flowing all afternoon. It was a great afternoon and I would love to do it all over again.Between 4 it ended up being 4 bottles of prosecco, 8 beers and 4 jagerbombs with 4 lunches for €337 (without tip), so read into that what you will but we thought it was good value!Go and you will enjoy yourself, recommend getting there before 3 (try 1.30-2pm) then you won't have the bunfight for a drink later

Krazy Apres every day, one of the biggest menus on the mountain. We are cooking everything fresh, all food is homemade. KK is the building behind the corner - in the back - follow the sign KRAZY KANGURUH Entrance.

We had a family lunch here - the nachos were a disgrace - they where notCorn chips - but cheese flavoured Doritos, three bowls of bottle sauce - bbq, mayo and sweet chill , then a sloppy mess of meat sauce or cheese sauce that made all the chips soggy. There was literally a pool of Watery liquid on the plate. Seriously the worst meal we have had in a long time, and the worst nachos we’ve ever eaten. Don’t bother. Dear Sirs!Thank you that you took your time to write a reference. Why you didn´t react straight away? All our waitresses know, that as soon the guests started to eat- we have to check if all the food is fine, if you would let us know while you were here we could have react - changed your meal to something else. Where you in the Krazy Kanguruh, we don´t serve nachos with mayonaise Sauce. We are the building behind the Corner . Please send us your mail address ([email protected]) we can communicate. We hope that we will welcome you as our guests. Best regards KK Team

We came here for the first night of our holiday and whilst we were quite tired, the food was really good. The only downfall is that it is pretty expensive. I went for the chicken on this basis but it is clearly a steak restaurant and the steaks people ordered looked really good. The wife unfortunately put her foot down so that was that. We didn't get the best table but everyone was chatting and there was a good ambiance. Would definitely go back.

Rieger"s Restaurant

Reviewed By Mataiworld

We loved our evening at Riegers. The service was spot on, really friendly and caring. The atmosphere was wonderful. Slightly modern still keeping the rustic charm befitting the town. We shared flammkuchen for entree....we LOVE flammkuchen so relished the chance! Perfectly crisp base, lovely topping, beautifully cooked and light as a feather. Main was venison for me and cooked to perfection with a lovely reduction sauce, perfectly cooked brussel sprouts and chewy parsnip. Seasonal, fresh and delicious. They served the noodles separately and I was happy for that as the dish didn't need it (in my opinion) the portion size was good as is. Portion sizes in Germany seem enormous! My husband had 200gms of rump steak cooked medium rare (you ask for it cooked "English" to get rare to medium rare in this part of Germany!). This dish was a bit of a let down for three simple reasons easy to correct. The steak was unrested so the blood drained onto the plate and mixed with the sauce to make for a pink look, not ideal. The mushroom sauce itself was just bland and needed a good dose of mushroom taste and acidity. The potatoes served with his dish were a bit oily and not very appetising. Just basic errors which I think were the result of a busy kitchen rather than an overall downfall in the cooking as my venison proved they know their stuff out back. So I would absolutely recommend Riegers. The wine list is small and very well priced, the staff really care and it's a great little restaurant we'd return to if we were staying longer.

What a lovely find! Very friendly staff, efficient, clean. Very large room with bath and shower and fabulous views of the Tirol mountains with balcony and patio furniture, all for E75 bed and breakfast. Fantastic breakfast served with a smile. Limited traditional bar meal which suited us fine. Would highly recommend this establishment.
