Joe Caribe serves light ethnic food at reasonable prices. Chicken Curry Burritos, Fish Tacos and Pork Mojo Sandwiches are some of the offerings. A nice short beer list includes Chimay on tap.
Whoops I started eating before I could stop myself and take this photo of fish tacos beans and rice plate. Fair price and very tasty. I order fish tacos allot and these were tops. Easy freeway 80 acccess just after the town of auburn enroute to north Tahoe!!! A tasty side dish served with all plates is shredded carrots sweet and sour taste. Itâs no doubt Iâd try it again. Itâs got more variety than Ike dad to the store but pie prices take home are near thame price as Ikeda homemade not the variety of Ikedas but this is a restaurant only. Staff friendly wide variety of plates meals and a la cart. Good for small or large groups and families

We have a large indoor dinning area, complete with bar & lounge. When the weather is nice, enjoy our outdoor patio. For larger groups, parties, business meetings and such we have a banquet room for rental throughout the whole year!
Our Server Urka greeted us with a huge smile from the moment we walked in. We were seated immediately and she made us feel special. We had the vegetable stir fry and the Asian salad. Both were delicious and very satisfying. I would highly recommend this as a fun and delicious place for lunch or dinner.

We went there on a Sunday. They close at 8:30. They dont have a separate dinner menu . Mostly lunch items that one can eat for dinner. Food is organic and some Vegan. I had a veggie sandwich. It was zucchini with a portabella mushroom, onion. Dont remember what else else was in it. They only had one variety of bread that they said was organic. The sandwich was good but hardly anything in it which was disappointing. The slices of zucchini was super thin, thinner than sliced pickles. It did taste good but the ingredients were quite sparse. It also came with either crackers or choice of corn chips. They are very accommodating as to ones diet. Really is an organic restaurant. They also have the normal beverages and beer. The ones who wait on you were very nice. They show geniune concern for your diet. If they would improve on the volume of food contents and had a variety of bread choices We would consider eatting here again. We had several wait persons waiting on us. Workers are.very polite who make you feel welcomed. They have many workers . It is a small restaurant. There were lots of customers as well. I would give them a higher rating since i think their type of restaurant is excellent and excellent service but i gave them a lower rating only because of their skimpy food ingredients. We both had the same menu item.
