We were back in Athlone for the weekend and hadn't done breakfast in hotel so came here. We were not disappointed, we both had the breakfast special of poached egg, avacado and bacon with home made brown bread. It was fantastic, so tasty, we didn't eat again until dinner time! Lovely coffee and staff too, highly recommend.

Visited for lunch. Very impressed. The place is decoratively lovely, with comfortable seating. Open with a feeling of space. The staff were lovely and really helpful. I had a non alcoholic beer, brewed in Dungarvan. It was different! The pizza was one of the nicest I have had, at home or abroad. To add to all that, the location is beautiful, right along the river and they have tables and chairs outside, making the most of their location. I would highly recommend this place.

We had a very nice lunch on a sunny Friday afternoon sitting outside at My Melody. It's my first time here in quite a while and it's good to see the place has lost none of its appeal. We had a light lunch, chicken gujons for me and ribs for my friend. Service was prompt and friendly, the food was tasty and though its not exactly cheap, its not too expensive either.Lovely to sut out in front of the Castle walls, definitely one of the nicest areas in Athlone town.

We ate daily breakfast at this restaurant during our stay in Ireland. We were staying at the Sheraton so this was super easy. The waiters/waitresses were great. The breakfast buffet was fantastic! Iâm not a big breakfast person but I was always able to find something I would eat daily. I really liked that there was a large selection of fresh fruit every day. The baked goods were delicious and my husband really enjoyed the hot food selection (eggs, bacon, potatoes, etc). I would recommend staying at the Sheraton and opting for the daily buffet. It made everything really easy and convenient!
