I love Oleana and have gone there many times. The food rarely if ever disappoints. Highlights last night were the fatteh, lamb and summer squash roulade, sultans delight, the striper, and the deviled eggs. The one area for improvement is the welcome. The servers are always nice, but ... I always leave with the sense that they aren't very interested in the customers, because the food is enough to get people to come back.
Modelo's Market Cafe serves both Brazilian and American meals in addition to providing fresh, high-quality meats and groceries to Somerville. serving all day breakfast, gourmet burgers, salads and more.
While visiting my daughter and granddaughters in Somerville, we went on a walk and my daughter suggested a stop at this establishment. This is a bakery, butcher shop, grocery store, and café all in one, with Brazilian emphasis. We picked out pastries and sat and ate at one of their tables. The food was excellent, and the employees (family?) very friendly and welcoming. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner, and have a menu a full page long. We did not have a chance to eat a meal there, but it looked very inviting. My daughter has purchased steaks there, and she says they cut them to your specification, including thickness. I look forward to visiting them again, perhaps for breakfast, next time we visit. For any of you familiar with this establishment, they have just moved across the street from their former location, and are more than twice as big as they were.

Highland Kitchen is a family-owned neighborhood restaurant and bar located "up the hill" in the heart of Somerville. HK has been delivering American comfort food, well-crafted cocktails, friendly service and a killer jukebox since 2007.
This is such a great spot. Cool, hipster vibe, great service (Victoria), and the food is always simple and delicious. We enjoyed an early family dinner on a recent Saturday. If you donât want to wait for a table- get there at 5pm when they open. Our favorites include the deviled eggs, the chicken liver toasts, the black bean burger, the shrimp and grits, and the grilled gruyere cheese sandwich with house-made tomato soup. Insider tip: there are a few parking spots behind the restaurant if you get lucky!

Date night. Looking for a place to get dinner before a night of dancing. The dance was in Arlington Massachusetts. Checked out TripAdvisor and discovered Tango Restaurant. Nice extensive menu. Nice atmosphere. Reservations a must. Raphael our Service was great, friendly and attentive. Ordered the Empanadas, one beef and one chicken and the Grilled veal sweetbreads for appetizers. For entrees, we ordered the grilled salmon and lamchops rare. All our ordered were cooked perfectly and delicious. Canât wait to return to Tango Restaurant to try the other menu items.
