The waiter seemed to be reading my mind and he was so knowledgeable in recommending food and wine pairing and did so very graciously it was a delight. The Food (squid for starters, lamb as main) was hands down among the best food Iâve ever had. Incredibly flavorful and fresh. I was in true food heaven. The Restaurant is very romantic and ideal for a special night out. Highly highly recommend

This place is a old standby for everyone local. Always busy sometimes the service is annoying but that is everywhere. There are comfortable booths for four or six, a great bar and Amagansett village which sells itself. The French Onion Soup is good on a cold night.

East Hampton's Fresno is unlike any other Hamptons restaurant mainstay. Think European sensibilities: more Provence than New York, more old world than traditional, more food, and more wine. The atmosphere is relaxed, neighborhood vibe. All are welcome to
We always go there and, we love the food!! the ambiance is great. Friendly staff. Sometimes we just eat at the bar.

This was our first time dining at the Tavern and it was wonderful! We went for dinner this past Saturday. The space is very comfortable & we were able to carry on a conversation even though it was crowded! The menu has many great items to choose from. We started with the Beet Salad, the Lobster Slider & the Chilled Tomato Gazpacho. All were delicious and nicely presented. For our main courses, we had the Harissa Lamb Burger with Feta and the 1/2 rack of Ribs. The Lamb Burger was served on a Brioche Bun and had just the right amount of spice. My wife said the ribs were the best she's had in a long time. We had no room for dessert so we just had coffee-even the coffee was very good. I have to mention that the service was excellent from start to finish and we found that the cost was very reasonable considering the excellent food & service. If your going to be in East Hampton or nearby, make a point to go!
