A Great Country Pub which serves great food!

We booked a table as we saw that they advertised a Sunday roast. OMG, what a roast. We have the Trio of meat. Beef, Turkey and Pork Belly. The photos do not do it justice. We also got a big bowl of roasted vegetables and ordered a side of Cauliflower Cheese. Not that we were hungry afterwards but we had to order dessert. Sticky Toffee Pudding and Marmalade Bread and Butter Pudding. We WILL be back.

Been here a few times before on a Saturday evening for drinks but never had lunch here before.Seriously impressed! Loved it!!!!It was myself, my guy and his dad.There are several reason why I would recommend this place.Food, service (above and beyond) and style.We had a proper meal for our lunch and It was lovely. My partner had some sort of monster burger, I had the regular burger and father in law had the curry of the day. Three excellent meals and very good priced. My guy and I both had a cake for dessert (because we can and it was naughty!) and they were lovely. My billionaire cake took me a while to eat and Iâm a massive chocolate lover. Haha.The style of the restaurant is great. Massive bar if you wish to drink with lots of options.The main point of my review is about the staff and how they went above and beyond.My father in law walks very slowly with two sticks and sadly humped over.It was heavy rain that day too so not nice for him to be out.The staff recognised father in laws difficulties and kindly re located two people from down stairs tables to free up an accessible table for us three. The staff quietly pointed out the loos to us if needed which were nearby, including a very good disable loo, the staff were very very polite.Very accommodating for our needs.As mentioned, it was heavy rain so when we came to leave, they opened the back door of the restaurant or us to get quick and easy assess back to our car.What excellent place to go and will be in again soon. Thank you so much for helping our lunch trip out.

Recently visited after hearing about the new menu and offers available. Some food was ok, nacho were awful, soggy and tasteless. Worst was the drinks prices, defo will be drinki bt tap water if i go back. Wine was so over priced compared with other local places. I would expect to pay £20 with a nice meal in glasgow. But way over priced considering the menu and decor. Kitchen paper on a roll on the table instead of paper towels, felt so cheap.
