âAjijic's most unique and romantic Boutique HotelâHotel La Nueva Posada is classified as a small boutique Hotel with Mexican Colonial charm and yet with all the modern amenities.
As guests of La Nueva Posada, we had complimentary breakfast every morning. That was heavenly.Terrific menu for the free breakfast, and a separate menu for paid breakfast. I always started with freshly squeezed OJ (such an amazing flavor) and my wife always had fresh fruit. Then classic Molletes (SOOOO Good) with butter and jam. I then opted for French Toast with bacon (not Mexican, but such a treat!) and my wife got various egg dishs (all of which she said were delicious). Great price (FREE!), great service (I always made sure to tip based on the retail price), Astonishing location (garden on the shores of Lake Chapala, under a giant Rubber Tree!).Just couldn't be better.

This must be the most inventive breakfast ever. Heavenly Eggs! An amazing breakfast dish with Bechemel sauce and an egg inside of a panko (?) type of covering. Delightfully light, flavorful, and simply amazing. The service at this establishment is always spot on with the two brothers making sure that everything is to your liking. A wonderful place to try for breakfast or dinner while in Ajijic!

We did a brunch thing for Mother's Day. The waiter presented Rose with a red carnation before we ate. Coffee was good and plentiful. Food was delicious. I had chilaquiles con dos huevos, Rose had something more American style. Both were great and yummy! Service was excellent.Thank you

We went as a fairly large group and they did an admirable job of serving us efficiently. Everyone had somewhat different fare, so I could observe and inquire about quality. The consensus was pretty good. Fish tacos, fish and chips, portabella burger, pork ribs, salads etc. The house wines have drinkability and the servers were patient and gracious. The environment is pleasant and comfortable, kind of half inside and outside. They have a full bar, but that's pretty normal in the area. I highly recommend Adelita's.

This is another place that does get a lot of hype, but man, they lived up to the publicity. Service was fast and friendly, but not trying to hustle us out. The food was amazing, a really nice wine list, and good prices. We will be back!

The owners of this restaurant went out of their way to handle a large group of people. The food was good and served hot despite serving 30 people together. They did a good job.

This was our first time eating at Cocinart. There were many tables available at 1 p.m. on a Saturday. The Specials board was brought to us in English. We ordered a shrimp burger, which was not a burger at all but whole shrimps piled on a bun, with a small salad (dressing too sweet), and nicely seasoned, cubed and roasted potatoes; a very tasty Cobb salad; and a sauteed, lightly breaded filet of bass topped with shrimp and tomatoes, which came with rice pilaf, and a small salad. The fish plate was all very good.Service was very good (waiters know English) and the prices were very reasonable.
