We loved Karma Beach as it was set right on the beach and the food and service was excellent in every way, so we ate there once again on our last night of our 19 night stay on Gili Meno.Prices were moderate and the food was delivered without excessive waiting times.The menu had a variety of dishes on offer to suit all tastes and my wife and I loved both of our meals at this lovely restaurant.Highly recommended.Dear Roger,Thank you so much for dining twice at the Karma Beach club. So my girlfriend really loves Tom Yum Soup, and this place did the best one on the island. I think we went there about 4 times.The cocktails were great too, and the other dishes (which I had), highly recommended restaurant.The staff were great as well.

On arrival to Meno it looks beautiful. Our boat dropped us at Anna Warung and first impressions great. Staff were lovely and even though we arrived early our room was ready within 10minutes. Cute basic room. Although very dark. My disappointment was that there was no fridge to keep water chilled and the biggest thing NO HOT WATER to shower or wash hands. The bed was hard and only one foam pillow. You were very overlooked but if you pulled the curtains it was to dark to see to get ready. There is no safe in the rooms or and toiletries. One if the most expensive rooms we have stayed in and honestly the worse. You was over looked by very unkept grounds with mess everywhere. Itâs a shame because it has potential to be so good. The beach has lots of small sharp coral so 100% recommend shoes. The hotel sun beds are fixed upright and joined together and cannot be moved. Also a few urchins so be careful. Lunch was good but within minutes of sitting down we were swarmed by the boat snorkelling tours as this seems to be their lunch stop! They also do not have diet sodas. To fill your water bottle they charge you 7,000k rp. Although itâs a petty minimal amount it typified the resort to me. We ventured out in the evening to the direction of the Harbour. It is hard going. The path is mainly sand and and coral. 2 pair of ruined shoes later we arrived at âharbourâ. Most eating places we just walked passed and gave a wide birth. We ended up going back to Karma beach as it looked the better option. It was so called happy hour on cocktails. We had 2 each and they were yummy. A mezze sharing platter to start. Then hubby had veggie curry I just fancied chips. Equivalent of £46 later we left. The horse and cart wanted 200000rp back to Ana warung. Talk about high way robbery. We walked again as I wouldnât be mugged off like that. Have a torch or phone to light your way. This morning we are leaving the island and I honestly cannot be more pleased. This may upset some travellers but remember this is my views & opinions and have based it on other stays. Since arriving in Bali we have stayed in Kuta, Seminyak Ubud and Gili T. Off to Gili Air tomorrow praying for improvement. Wow is all I can say on Gili Air. Itâs a must. Wish I had Bypassed Meno completely.

We dropped here on our 4 our private boat tour - friends had banana juice (excellent) and I had stir fried noodles with fish. The chilli padi was top notch spicy.After the meal we went up the second floor which had hammocks and a place to lie down. Best nap ever.

For 5Euro each person, you can get a lot. We ordered Nasi goreng which was far much better than other restaurants in the island. Also ordered ohla ohla tempe chicken which is mainly vegetables with chicken, tasted also good. Coconut juice was the star of the dinner. Better to support this poor family business than capitalist restaurants. Must try!

Great local restaurant run by what I assume to be a husband and wife and their son combination. We passed by on a weekday around 2pm and asked if we could order dinner for the evening, which they prefer as the food takes quite a while to cook. We told them our arrival time, and when we came, a table was set up for us and we were greeted quickly for drinks. I got a frozen ginger tea, which was perfect as I was feeling under the weather. For the entrees we had ordered the mahi mahi pasta and the tuna entree beneath it on the menu (canât remember name). Once we sat the food was brought to us in 10 min. Both were phenomenal and huge portions for around 70k each - no taxes on top. The sauce and spices unique, tuna dish came with fabulous cooked potatoes and both came with a great side salad. Highly recommend!

Came here for dinner based on reviews. Got a little gazebo to sit on for what turned out to be a couple of hours...Lovely location, some sort of singing/jamming session in the corner and probably the slowest service ever. Not incompetent just amazingly slow - like even a Bintang took about 15 minutes and the place wasnât really busy.Curryâs were nice. Pancakes were ok. Drinks also ok. Itâs a pleasant spot and fits in with the relaxed vibes of the island but perhaps theyâve taken it a little too far. Recommended for a lazy afternoon. Drops a star as the food is âgoodâ but not âvery goodâ and sadly dropped another for the speed of service.

We're on our second day and have visited four times already. Jizzy's feels like a home away from a home. We love that it is a lovely family who work together to create the restaurant and they are all individually very welcoming (the little girl is hilarious). The prices are great, and whilst you may expect a wait, also expect the food to be made fresh, with love and with large portions. I highly recommend it as a vegetarian, too. Support their lovely warung and experience cheap, delicious, local Indonesian food!thank you for your great review! we hope to see you again soon!

We had diner several times at this place and the food is very very delicious, prepared with care. The staff is very polite and the whole place is very clean! Also the place it cosy and nice decorated.The portions are quite big and therefore the price is very reasonable. We rather eat here than at the hotel we stayed (more expensive and very small portions).The menu is very various, local dishes but also pasta, pizza, burgers, sandwiches, salads, steaks etc... It is located in a dark road but you should definately go eat here!

We had lunch here and the food and service were exceptional and far superior to other experiences we had on Gilli Meno. Our waiter Fandi looked after us like we were family and was justifiably proud of his restaurant.Fish cakes were sensational.Thai beef salad is frickin hot though the beef was delicious.Fish and chips were also very good. The whole place is schmick which is not always the case on Gilli Meno and the staff are obviously very well trained. Well done Mahanaya. It's a a gold star from us.
