Premier Indian restaurant and Bar, serving the very best in Indian cuisine.situated on west street, Just outside the famous historical Warwick castle, why not try for yourself, the vivaanta experience.
We decided to give the new place a try as we are missing a good local Indian restaurant. Absolutely excellent all round, portions good, food perfect and service very friendly. Nice job of re-decorating as well. I hope this is a successful venture and it continues just like this. Very good.

Awful, awful, awful. This is NOT an Indian restaurant. All our curries consisted of dry meat covered in the greasiest curry sauce with a thick layer of oil on top (god knows where the oil came from, certainly not from the meat!). We all had different meats and different curries and none of us could finish it because it tasted terrible. The menus were sticky and the floor under our table was covered in food waste from previous customers. It's not even value for money as there are many better curry houses in Warwick where you get quality Indian food for the same price. First and last visit!

The Anchor Inn is a pub with a restaurant area serving traditional pub food and a specials board and also stocking local ales/beers. It has an outside beer garden in the summer, warm & cosy log burner stoves in the winter. Great location just off the M40,
Called in for lunch after recommendations from work colleagues. It was busy(always a good sign) even though 12.30 on a Wednesday. We were greeted warmly by the young man behind the bar. We had chicken in a cream tarragon mushroom sauce. It was absolutely delicious. The vegetables were potatoes, broccoli, cauliflower and carrots which were all tasty, well cooked and very fresh tasting. We had chocolate chip bread and butter pudding for desert . It was reasonably priced and enough to share ; delicious.Staff were friendly and welcoming.

Came here in March for my birthday with my Dad & Step Mum. We've been here a few times now for special occasions as the food is always very good & the staff are lovely. It's an usual location as it's in the middle of a housing estate, & the building has no windows if you're seated at the back of the restaurant, so you can't see the outside world go by. However, the decor is beautifully decorated. The waiting staff are wonderful, very friendly & helpful, our waiter for the evening even saw us out at the end of the meal by opening the door & wishing us well, which was lovely. I opted for the chicken tikka byriani, which was delicious! The side dish of vegetables & sauce though was unfortunately too salty. My Step Mum had the sizzling salmon which she's had before & really enjoyed it again. My Dad's dish (can't remember the name) had too much salt in it too unfortunately. Despite the food being not as enjoyable as previous visits though I'd visit again. Thank you for your review, it really was unfortunate that your dishes were salty I deeply and sincerely apologise, however thank you also for bringing this to my attention because I can act upon this to prevent this reoccurring for other diners, it really does help when diners communicate with us because it allows me to run my business better. Thank you Owner/ manager Akay

Went early on a Saturday evening. Busy with great atmosphere but not too busy. Great service, poppadoms and dips lovely. Curry super, right amount of spice, fresh and not oily. Waiter suggested taking leftovers home and boxed them up. Service friendly and efficient, nothing too much trouble. Will return asap.

Visited here on a Saturday evening and was immediately impressed with the vibrant atmosphere in the place. However, I wasn't impressed for long. We were then served non crispy poppadoms and a pickle tray with very watery items. The starter was passable but the main course I had - Balti Lamb - was very non-descript. I certainly wouldn't race back to this place again. There are far better establishments in the town.

We attended on Saturday night for a meal for my partners birthday and was not disappointed. We had poppadoms for starter as we had a big lunch and didn't want to ruin the main - I then had a king prawn and spinach curry (not a huge fan of a curry, but booked this restaurant as my partner enjoys this cuisine), and I really liked it! My partner had a duck curry (1st time) and he thoroughly enjoyed his too. Portions were perfect sizes - not too big, and the full of flavor. Staff were friendly and v attentive. We will definitely be returning .. even if we grab a take out! Nicest curry we've had in a long time. Thank you :)
