THE food is good and the service is great but we have frequented this establishment on numerous occassions and it has had the same pop music playing on every occassion we have visited - when asked if they coud change it they were unable but they did turn the volume down for us.

Went on Saturday as a special treat but totally disappointed. Staff unfriendly and loud. Food had no flavour and tasted as if frozen with sauce added. Asked for one dish came out with a spoonful of it and then said they would provide something else and put it on my husbands plate without checking. It was like faulty towers. Will never go there again.

This is the 3rd year running we held our event at 'The Jolly" and once again their welcome was second to none. We were a party of 30 and everyone said how great the food was. I would thoroughly recommend this venue for any occasion. Brilliant!

We recently tried this takeaway when the Spice Lounge in Wargrave was taken over by Haweli. ....as we thought the food was fabulous. We were delighted with the Hurst Tiger though.....easy online ordering and good delivery service. The food though is very good. ....you get the sense that it is not massed produced but authentic and also not greasy or oily which Indian food can sometimes be. We're now regular customers and have enjoyed trying various dishes. You won't be disappointed.

Good service. Bring own drinks at no charge. Plenty of variety and reasonable prices. Have reviewed several times. Well laid out and comfortable seating. Maybe getting used to it but feel food quality has dropped off a bit. Nothing wrong with quantity, but seems to lack that extra bit of quality

Fine dining
Sunday buffet for a family party. Good service and a nice choice of food, and the naan bread was fantastic. Please sort the ladies loo out- no hand towels to dry hand (just few dirty ones in the bin) and the taps are almost coming off the wall! Many thanks for your kind words. Sincere apologies for the hand towel situation. We will try to keep a more frequent check on the cloakrooms. And the taps are built into the wall. I will ask the team to make sure they are all working.Kind regards
