Reviews on Indian food in Soufriere, Soufriere Quarter, Caribbean. Soufriere's backdrop of the Pitons, sea and rainforest provides a picture perfect setting for a visit to this laid-back and relatively undeveloped town in the south of St. Lucia. Considering that its name is French for "sulphur," it should be no surprise to discover the wealth of hot springs and mineral baths. Other great spots to visit include Diamond Botanical Gardens, a slew of pretty beaches and the bike trails that wind through sugar plantation Anse Mamin. Rent a car to see the town.

Yes, the food is out of this world, but here is something that will make reading my review worth it. Ask for the Naan Bread Demo. You will see the oven, how it's used, and watch as they make Naan bread right there. And you will EAT that one too!

We stayed on property for our honeymoon in st. Lucia and had an amazing time. The view from the restaurant of the pitons/sulphur springs is the best on the island. The staff at the restaurant were friendly and knowledgeable. The food was Indian influenced and also very good. An intimate atmosphere, that feels like you're sitting up in the tree top canopy. Highly recommend!

Beautiful waterfront restaurant located in Marigot Bay Marina Village at Capella Resort. Serving authentic Indian and Indo Chinese (Hakka) cuisine. From the owners of Spice of India in Rodney Bay. Opened in March 2015 and already Number One position among
A really good Indian in St Lucia? Weird? Unlikely, you might think. However, it gets top billing on Trip Advisor because it regularly produces quality food. We had two visits there - probably should have been more!Rather than the menu going through every level of heat from Korma upwards we were asked what level of heat and spiciness we were comfortable with. The meals were delivered in what we all thought were accurate levels of heat. One of the party Mild, two Medium and one Medium Hot. Portions were generous and quality high.Don't be surprised that in low season they might close by 10pm if empty by then. We could see them from our apartment balcony which was on a level with theirs. Also, they are closed Mondays at this time of year. If you are in the area - visit.Dear guest, Many thanks for your flattering feedback. We value everything you said about us and feel proud of our efforts. It is definitely not weird to have any cuisine in any part of the world. Passionate chefs, great team, amazing location, clean and comfortable ambiance---that's all it takes. I am pleased to know that our team delivered all of the elements. Hope to see you and your recommendations soon.Best regards,Chef Adil,Masala Bay (2015) andSpice of India (2010)
