Finest Indian and bangladeshi cuisine.
Stayed overnight in the area. Searched on trip advisor and found this place. We were greeted by a very welcoming man. The food was absolutely amazing, best Bombay Aloo I've ever tasted. If ever in the area again we'll definitely be going back. Staff were very pleasant. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Impeccable from start to finish. An experience Iâd recommend on. The service was flawless and the food from our starters to the mains were to die for. The Management and Staff were knowledgeable and the beverage selection is absolutely beautiful. Myself and Colleagues were impressed with the warm atmosphere and the attention to detail. Thanks for a wonderful night. Will be returning no doubt.

One of the city's most stunning dining rooms sitting alongside a beautiful bar and lounge. The restaurant serves signature cuisine by Aktar Islam one of Birminghams most prominent chefs. The menu is inspired by flavours and spices taken from the indian su
I was truly blown away with my entire experience during a midweek dinner reservation. The service was on par with all the top tier restaurants in Birmingham, the explanation of each dish was clear. I ordered from the a la carte menu, from the starters to desserts, i was left satisfied. Each dish had an interesting twist, playing on traditional spices and flavours, the lamb especially, cooked pt perfection, tradtional spices with Opheems own intricacies that left me wanting to return without question.

Indoor Tandoori Barbeque
Me and my partner visited here last night. On ordering our meal, I stayed no onions. The barmaid made no comment about this request and it was printed on my receipt with âno onionsâ.When our mains came, my chicken curry had lots of onions in. I spoke to the barman who stated all the sauces come with onions, but took the meal back to the kitchen to confirm this. My meal was then brought back out and I finished it. The chicken was a bit hit and miss and I was having to cut away some parts of the chicken as it wasnât very nice. I didnât want to make a fuss as my partner said his meal was very nice. When I went to bed, I was up all night and into the early hours of this morning suffering from diarrhoea and vomiting. The stomach cramps I had was absolutely awful. The only thing that could have caused this was the chicken curry, which my partner had none of and makes sense why he hasnât been ill!! I have contacted The Vine directly through their online âcontact usâ section and I am still yet to receive a reply. I want a full investigation into this as I am absolutely appalled to have had this experience. Thanks for leaving a review on TA. We have replied to your email regarding this matter also. We were concerned to hear this and hope you are feeling better. We serve over a thousand meals every week and food hygiene is very important to us. I believe it was made aware to you that the base of the curry sauce main ingredient is actually made with onions blended down into the curry sauce. Iâm glad to hear your partner enjoyed his meal. We are looking into this at the moment and are waiting to hear back from you.

Went on a very high recommendation and I was not disappointed. A family run restaurant with freshly prepared great tasting food and great choice. Everything was beautifully presented and served hot. The waiters were very welcoming, friendly and happy to talk to you and find out what you liked. I had a Karahi Paneer and it was stunning. My sons claimed the best naans and popadoms ever on top of devouring all of their food! Thank you for a fabulous evening. Canât wait for our next visit. Highly recommend.

Small family visit to my sister's local Indian to mark her birthday. I haven't been to an Indian for years, and haven't had one this good for decades. I really couldn't find fault with anything. I live in a town far away with no decent restaurants - I think I'll need to step up the frequency of visits to my sister so I can experience Little Bangla more often. We had a range of starters and mains and I tried a little of everyone's - the main test was passed - I could taste every ingredient in perfect proportion. Portions were good, service was first-rate (they felt like family!) and the atmosphere good. Bring your own booze, they'll happily serve it for you. There's a decent-sized car park just over the road, so that's no problem either.Wow Itâs a beautiful compliments. Thank you so much, Honestly your rating and review is make us proud and give is more inspiration to provide wonderful food and hospitality to our guests. Thank you so much once again for visiting us ans take time to make a wonderful compliments

Fine dining Indian/Bangladeshi Restaurant
My husband and I visited this restaurant on a recent trip to Birmingham. First impressions... The restaurant is very modern and clean and the staff were very welcoming. There was a good classic selection of dishes on the menu and some I'd never tried before. The food was served quickly and it was delicious and well presented. The wine is very reasonably priced and we'd definitely visit again.

First time dining in this establishment. Front of house greeting first class.Drinks reasonable priced from an extensive list. Food I ordered from the chefs recommendations section was excellent along with the usual rice and bread. All nice and hot on warmed plates. Very clean all round and well worth the visit.

Went here for a meal last night with two girlfriends. I was expecting an excellent meal, but my particular dish, the Lamb Pathia was very disappointing. There were only a few pieces of meat in it, and the sauce was like eating a bowl of tomato puree ... far too sweet and far too tomatoey! Not very nice. We didn't have a started, but instead went for a pappadum each. They looked (and were) almost soggy - they had all probably been sitting on a hot place in the kitchen. I didn't say anything, as I didn't want to upset my girlfriends, but singularly unimpressed ..... Service wasn't very good either. One of my friends had her cutlery and napkin taken away by the waiter, we had to wait quite a while for our main dishes (even though we didn't have a starter, the waiter forgot to bring a third naan bread .... The restaurant was quite full last night, though and it was as though they were very short on serving staff. One of my friends' chicken tikka dish looked very dry and my other friend's dish had far more vegetabley sauce than it had meat ..... It's got a nice atmosphere, but I'm afraid that, on this occasion, it really disappointed!
