Twice I had a very good experience of ordering a takeaway so I decided to order the same dish, "Chicken sector 17" again totally ignoring that this restaurant cost a fortune. Disappointed I was, the dish was totally different that what it was before, the chicken was supposed to be coated in batter but simple plain chicken pieces were served. Typical Indian restaurant compromise style. Highly disappointed.Dear Navdroid,Thank you for taking some time out to review our restaurant Bayleaf- Basel. I am very sorry that you have not received the dish as you expected. Please forgive us for your bad experience. Our kitchen staff always tries to make their best job possible even during very busy hours. Unfortunately we can not withdraw what happened but itâs very important for us to offer you something as compensation. Kindly contact us directly in order to give you my apologies personally. you can contact us directly through email â [email protected] would be our pleasure to see you here or order takeaway from us. Till than we wish you all the best.Yours sincerely,Nadeem khan

If you enjoy Indian food as I do, you should definitely go there. I went to that lovely place with some colleagues and we all had the same positive feedback. Food was great, the waiter did her best to make that dinner enjoyable and she did succeed.

First time here. It is a small, cramped feeling and dated restaurant. Service was extremely slow. No drink orders were even taken for a long time. Food took a long time to come out, and some of our party had to wait longer than others. My food was extremely spicy and they couldn't even offer me plain yogurt. I wouldn't bring my kids here as we always need to order them some plain yogurt. I would skip this place.

Indian restaurant situated in Saint-Louis, next to Mulhouse (F) and Basel (CH).
The food was ok. I'll say average. I've tried much better Indian restaurants. What I didn't like was the place. Poor decor or ambiance. The prices are ok.
