Reviews on Indian food in Queenstown, South Island, New Zealand. Staggering beauty and heart-pumping thrills await in the resort town of Queenstown, which is also known for its Hobbits—much of the Lord of the Rings trilogy was filmed in the area. Outdoor enthusiasts flock to Queenstown for the kayaking, bungee jumping, jetboating, white-water rafting, hiking and skiing. More mild-mannered adventurers can take a quiet cruise through nearby Milford Sound, part of the Fjordland National Park World Heritage area, or sample South Island pinot noir from one of the region's 75 wineries.

Me and my wife went there after a gap of 3 years to have dinner. Once Spice room used to be my favorite Indian restaurant in Queenstown but not anymore. The guy who was serving knew exactly what he was doing, so service was amazing, food presentation was equally good. But both the important aspect of being a good restaurant were missing, the ambience of the place looks like of a run down restaurant, food was okay, we had chicken korma, palak paneer and some starter. Taste which was there five years ago was missing. I would say owners need to work on the ambience of the place and quality of the food

Bombay Palace is one the Finest destination for Authentic Indian Food. The decor is very modern & the menu is tantalising.Bollywood music & Much more......
Probably one of the tastiest Indian meals we have had for a while. The only reason I took a star off, was we all had a "slight" stomach upset that evening. Not 100% sure if it was there food, but a coincidence nonetheless. Would give it another go based on how tasty the food was .

My mother, 4 year old son, and I spent a day downtown and before we took the water taxi back to our hotel, which was outside of town, we ordered take away food from this restaurant (which was also recommended by one of our hotel front desk staff members). We enjoyed the naan, saag paneer, and samosas. My son loved the naan!

Best Indian in Queenstown. We also have our branch Boliwood in Five Mile, Grant Road, Frankton, Queenstown.
I should have walked back out . Ordered a vindaloo curry. This curry was made with some type of convenience paste, and he has used to much in my curry, disgusting. The place also smelled, itâs dirty. Just look at the state of the kitchen .
