We used to eat here a lot but our recent visit will be the last...unless they change the menu. They have been serving the exact same dishes for what must be 12-15 years now. No changes, not even any specials. The staff also seemed bored working there and the quality of the ingredients has gone down. The mixed Tandoori starter was very old, tough and stale...it had been cooked, frozen and reheated at least once. There was a wilted garnish on the side I dare not eat and a few stripes of mediocre sauce/drizzle. My Balti was an over sweet, red gloup and the rose wine was very low quality. The people here are nice...but for goodness sake, isn't it time for some changes? It's not like people are fighting to get in...Many thanks for your lovely review old is gold. If you donât like the traditional Indian foods please welcome to go another place donât do traditional Indian foods. And please donât insult traditional Indian foods. Many thanks.

Welcome to Kerala Flavours! Treat yourself to something different today at our restaurant here in Eastbourne centre, not far from the seafront. Our premium South Indian menu offers lots of dishes you may not have tried before, as well as all the favourite
Having eaten at many Indian restaurants this one, as the suggests, specialising in southern Indian cooking was brilliant. There were several dishes I had not come across before including a number of fish curries The list of starters was extensive as was the number of vegetation options Thoroughly enjoyable well flavoured/spiced food . Give it a go you wonât be sorry you did

First visit to the Raipur on friends recommendation. Situated just on the outskirts of Pevensey, the parking is good. The restaurant is very clean, light and tasteful decor. Friendly staff. The food choices are large and innovative. Each dish arrived colourful and beautifully garnished. Drink and food prices reasonable. Will return. Booking essential.

An authentic and vibrant Indian street food restaurant in Eastbourne. Please note: Tuk Tuk Eastbourne will be closed from the 29th September and re-open on 5th October due to family holiday. Thank you
Went here for lunch on Sunday. Nice decor and very comfortable chairs, so was nice to spend some time here after a lot of walking. We all went for the thali (2 meat and 2 veg versions) which I like because itâs good value and saves having to think too hard! Thalis here include a small dessert (gulab jamun) and a lovely fluffery buffery naan.

Ordered a curry for myself and my other half the other night.Ordered a chicken tikka masala with pilau rice, a lamb rogan josh with pilau rice, a naan bread and some poppadoms. When it arrived, earlier than stated which was good, the food arrived hot.It was reasonably priced, came to about £25.The food itself was lovely. Smashed the lot! The tikka was yummy and the rogan josh was spot on. The meat was tasty and tender. Will definitely order from here again and highly recommend! :)

Food was good, but I didn't get what I ordered, received a chicken dish instead of prawns, but it was not worth returning it as they were so busy. The waiter was rather indifferent I felt, obviously too many people to deal with and for that reason we felt we would not return for another visit.

There is one only problem with The Royal Indian....... deciding which one of the delicious dishes to order! The food is so good that is a job to decide on a favourite. The Sea Bass Moilee is fantastic, so flavorsome and fragrant with spices. The lamb is amazing, really tender with different variations of spices depending on which dish you go for. There is a great choice of different sides and even the drinks have the best selection that we have seen in an Indian restaurant which different cocktails available. The staff are always friendly and attentive. This is not your average Indian restaurant. From the outside it looks ordinary but inside you will find it a step above the others. It has a lovely contemporary design with the tables well set out with clean white napkins and tablecloths. The quality stands out in both the decor and most importantly the food which is wonderful.
