I was impressed by how quickly and frequently my water was refilled. My friend did not experience the same for her drink, however. Somewhat limited menu but enough choices for vegetarians, vegans and gluten free diners. Meals came with plenty of rice but naan was not included. Tried the okra and enjoyed it, loved the korma. Would try the lassi if I go back.

The host is charming and engaging. Of 10 tables 6 or 7 were filled with Southeast Asian customers, which I usually take as a good sign. Pappadams were flavorful with a trio of sauces (tamarind, mint/cilantro, and some lovely red sweet and spicy chutney). We were lame and only tried our favorite stand-bys -- chicken tikka masala, naan, onion kulcha, and butter chicken. I know, I know, there are more adventures in the cuisine just waiting for us! But I get to eat Indian so infrequently that I bail for a favorite stand-by. I just love it so much! We were not disappointed. Heat level of 5 was pretty mild I thought, so I'll try a 7 next time. Everybody was lovely and the food was great. I'll definitely be back!

This is a regular stop for our family. The Saturday buffet is reasonably priced and the food is always top notch. You will not walk out of here disappointed. The service has been good for us and the restaurant has always been fairly clean. This place is the reason I love Indian food. The only catch is that the restaurant isn't that big so you really need to get here before the lunch rush or dinner rush if you want the best experience.

We visited on a Saturday around 2:30pm and discovered this new restaurant was having a buffet. Flavors were bold, tending to more spice and more flavor. Everything was seasoned perfectly and even though they were 30 minutes from closing there were fresh items in each tray. After returning to our table with our plates loaded we were given two fresh naan.Service was friendly and engaged. The food was delicious and worth a return trip. The restaurant itself if sparsely decorated, but clean and inviting. The Lansing region has a worthy competitor for best Indian food in the area.

We were recently here for dinner, and were very happy with our meal. First of all, you need to know that this a casual place; you will not need to dress up to go here. In furnishings, this restaurant looks like fast food. The menus are printed as handouts to take home for your next carry out order. We began with the fried onion appetizer. A lot of nice Indian restaurants have been cheapening this appetizer by removing most of the onions. You get a fried lump of batter, with a few onion shards as part of the lump. Here, you get actual onions. They look like the canned fried onions you see at Thanksgiving time, but these are way better. They are fresh fried, nicely seasoned, and green herb leaves are added at the last minute. Did I also say that the price is very good? As our main dish, we ordered matar paneer, green peas and Indian cheese in a gold curry gravy. This was great, and not too hot for American taste when ordered mild. For dessert, we ordered the Indian bread with cashews, coconut, and something else sweet, maybe it was honey. Too sweet to eat with your meal, but a wonderful dessert. Wait time was reasonable, the food was top flight, and the value for price charged was excellent!
