I was visiting in Sandy Ut and went to Royal India with a friend, I would never have given Indian food a consideration if I was dinning alone (as I usual do) and only went there because my friend likes India food. Boy what a surprise the food and atmosphere was wonderful. Years ago while in the Navy I got sick on curry so I expected a less then pleasant experience. Man were my expeditions confounded the food was excellent and not to spicy (the wait staff asked about the amount of spice desired). I had the Shrimp Valado (sp) and onion bread soooo good. Its a very friendly place the the wait staff seem to truly care about your experience.

while flying back to home from SLC we decided to taste the South indian cuisine. Found this place online and reviews were good so gave it a try. Overall experience is good. its different then other indian resturants where mostly the tables are crammed, it has nice open space flow. We orderd the Ganesha special, mysore masala. We liked the preparations but would have been good if sambhar was more tangy but may be its there style of cooking. I will like to say if you are from North indian - you will like the dosa but samosa and chana batura no way ...;). looks like they shouldnt write south and north indian on there board. So if you are in SLC and want to have the taste of South indian cuisine this is nice place to go ....but remember no samosa or chana batura :) ..

Went here last week with good friends. My wife and I split the chili cheese naan. Excellent flavor. My wife had the coconut shrimp curry and I had the fennel, black pepper and cumin shrimp curry. Both were excellent. This was my first time here and I'll definitely go back again.

My husband and I have been going to Flavors of India for about 3 or 4 months and it's my absolute favorite restaurant in the entire valley. I absolutely crave the Chicken Korma and the Chicken Masala. It's the best Indian food I've ever had. I crave Indian food all because this restaurant but nowhere can measure up to the Flavors of India. On top of having great food they also have excellent customer service. The only thing negative about Flavors of India is that my husband says I can only go once a week.

Bombay is a classic! If you like the American "norm" of Indian food the Chicken Tikki Masala and buttered chicken is a common favorite. Along with other authentic dish choices. I also took my dad here when he said he hates Indian food and enjoyed it! I also like how you can choose the level of spicey, most of the time I find Indian Restaurants not spicey enough ! For those who don't like it spicey and for those who can't find spicey enough like me you can get that here. I also love there mango lassis :)!
