In the advice of a friend we came here, great menu with some dishes Iâve not heard of before. Whilst talking to all 5 of us the waiter assessed our curry preferences and suggested dishes accordingly. None of us were disappointed, it even impressed me! It was a friends birthday so the Happy Birthday serenade was spot on! Thanks guys!

Another lovely visit to Amiraâs with a group of friends for an evening meal. Of particular highlight this time were the coconut chilli chicken and also the pudding! I never usually order pudding after curry but the caramel apple pie was delicious. I also enjoyed the dark and stormy cocktail, my absolute favourite. Looking forward to our next visit already!Thank you for rating us 5* 32hannaht! It's great to read you enjoyed your meal especially the Coconut and Chilli Chicken which is definitely a favourite! You should come back for buy one get one free cocktails every day 5:30-6:30pm! We hope to see you soon! Many thanksLauren

Welcome to the award-winning Raj Pavilion Restaurant. We understand one of life's real pleasures is a good, satisfying meal. So let us tempt you with an unrivalled range of authentic & imaginative traditional indian foods. Our food is cooked to the highes
We had a nice meal here, good value and pleasant atmosphere. Food was very nice mostly, dishes were quite generous portions and very tasty, but one dish was very oily - when we commented on this, it was suggested we could have asked for it with less oil - but how were we supposed to know it was oily before it arrived? It wasn't mentioned in the description! Overall, a good meal and we will be visiting again.

Our third time there, freezing cold, order was wrong. The food was spicy; all three tasted the same. We couldn't tell the difference between a prawn and a lamb dish!.. The soft drinks are very expensive. £450 for a coke!

Five of us got together here as it was midway between various homes. Staff excellent, service great, food very good, the onion bhajis some of the best I have had. I do feel that the chicken in a shashlik could be smaller chunks but then again I could always cut them up myself! Plenty of food, somehow we managed it all and we were even offered a drink on the house at the end which was a wonderful surprise. Sadly as a driver I had to decline. This place had been recommended by a friend who lives locally and loves Indian food so very glad we could try it.

We only discovered this takeaway recently but have already had 4 meals from here. The food is delicious and piping hot, and the portions are generous. We have used their delivery service twice and the delivery has always arrived in the time span given when ordering (no mean feat as we live well and truly in the sticks). We have had the same delivery man on both occasions and he always nice and cheery! I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Bombay Spice!Dear Customer,Thank you so much for leaving us a 5/5 review on TripAdvisor. We really appreciate it. Your comments are very kind and encouraging to both of our front and kitchen team. Here at Bombay Spice nothing means more to us than happy and satisfied customers. I am delighted that you enjoyed your experience with us. I have passed on your compliments to all of my colleagues. We very much look forward to serving you again soon. Kind Regards, Management

Astonishly good Indian food in a tiny Sussex town
We had a lovely meal - food was excellent and cannot fault it. Unfortunately the service was slow and slap-dash. We started with popadoms and appetisers, however we had been in the restaurant for almost 2 hours before our main meals arrived! Waiting staff didn't really speak to us (just grunted) and at one point I was nudged out of the way by the waiter so he could take a plate away! I went to Cafe Rasoi a while ago and it was much nicer than it is now. I doubt I will go back - I felt as if they didn't really want us there.

We have been visiting this restaurant at least once a month for the past year. The food is delicious and the service is great. It's a little pricey in comparison with other local Indians, but it's certainly worth it. Easily the best curry in the Crowborough area.

I can imagine the School Report Card if Spiceway were attending school.... "Must do better".If I couldn't get to Heathfield, then i'd perhaps use them once in a blue moon.

Despite being the first people of the evening the service was slow. The vegetable in our jalfrezi meals were just about cooked. Nice nan bread and excellent pilau rice but the main courses were disappointing. Overall the whole meal was overpriced and expected a higher standard for main courses, there seems to be a lack of competition in the area.
