I love local places, they have less ambiance but great food, would recommend prawn curry rice and seafood. Airy and comfortable, the service is with a smile. Located close to the beach, however one does not get a view of beach or field that is nestled in. But the place is calm.Thanks for the review...

This must be among the few places where Iâve seen such an elaborate menu for Indian main course dishes. Superb choice and great taste which gets better with efficient service and thoughtfulness. For dinner the adults got knives in the cutlery and the kid got a table knife which speaks volumes of the lady of the house who makes it a point to give attention to all the tables. Beautiful setting in a garden ambiance. Must do ! And yes, they also have a bar !!

Sanjay and his wife run what has, for many years, been one of the best shacks to eat at in Benaulim. Always a great welcome when we visit. Superb food, friendly staff and regularly weekly entertainment.Traditionally we always go there for our first meal back each year.Never disappoints.

I ate here a few times during my visit largely due to the positive experiences here. Overall it was average. Sometimes the food and service was good,sometimes bad. Itâs really crowded and noisy at breakfast and the food isnât anything special - the same can be had at numerous Benaulim eateries. It was a better vibe in the evening - a nice place for a drink, although the food was quite bland. Foreigner food,rather than Indian food.

Very pleasant place in good surroundings, charming staff and varied and tasty menu.We had stuffed mushrooms, tandoori chicken and butter chicken.All were very well cooked , presented and delicous.I noted one reviewer who mentioned nice gravy but chewy chicken, I could possibly mention that for my butter chicken but Hey....my plate was clean. Went with friends to try out the fish thali. Best to have a lunch. Fast, lots of little satoris of clams, crab curry, veggie, kokum, fried king fish, and large rice and prawn curry. It's beautiful property with a lot of greenery and the restaurant covers the lovely residence of the owners. We drove in for lunch, with just a couple tables taken in a huge place, the walls are adorned by some of Mario Miranda art depicting the Goan life in his uniquely humorous way and a lot of local Goan artefacts & furniture (including the bar counter). No Air-conditioning, but the greenery and the fans keep you cool. The staff is very welcoming and friendly, we tasted some palm fenny while the bartender explained how it is had. The staff recommendations were spot on. Mutton Samosa's, Prawn Rissois (fried dumpling), Prawn Balchao, Fish Curry, etc., Authentic stuff, and not overly spicy, and absolutely lip smacking. we all agreed that it was value for money. Will go back again and I highly recommend this restaurant for a taste of Goan Cuisine.
