I was early at Mandi on a business visit. This restaurant opened at around 10:30amAs we sat, we ordered parantha which to our dismay were not available. (I mean how can a Indian restaurant deny Parantha). he had Chana Bhatura which to the face looked stale. We order Coffee and Sandwich. It look almost 25 min to get the order and the coffee was made without milk in sheet water. On inquiring, the cashier said milk hasn't come... OMG, that's enough...
We used this restaurant twice, once enroute from Dharamsala to Manali and once on the way from Manali to Shimla. The restaurant is simple but the food was very good, the service efficient and friendly and the toilets very clean

Coincidentally, our vehicle tire got a puncture right in front of this dhaba. We took one of the tables outside & the first question the server asked us was - "beer?" A couple of us had beer & for food, we had missi roti, rajma, aloo jeera & kadahi paneer.the food was decent. It was a little dusty outside with vehicles constantly passing by but we were OK with it.

Copacabana bar and restaurant is the best non-vegetarian restaurant in Mandi. Especially delicious are their tandoori trout, chicken tikka and mutton Palak. When the weather permits the garden restaurant is a lovely place to relax with a few friends with friends and a delicious meal.

When in Mandi we had a chance to have food in this former Palace converted as a restaurant. We had food in the dining hall which had photographs of the Royalty, weapons used earlier and even musical instruments. Service of food was good. Outside it had a good open place for dining. Overall good food and good place to be at.

Chawlas2 is a ell known restaurant chain in NCR. Considering the same we decided this as the stopover for lunch on our way back from Manali. I was very disappointed with the quality of food. We ordered for rara meat and it was smelling badly as if it was cooked previous night. We left the entire food on the table. horrible experience.
