On two occasions, our guest house ordered food for us which was brought in. It was delivered fast and arrived hot. The dishes were all very, very good: dal, jeera rice, paneer tikka masala, garlic nan, veg raita, aloo gobi. Portions were large. Rs 320 for two.
food is average and a bit spicy, but yes , it can be improved if specifications are ordered in advance
It is situated in the hustle and bustle of High Traffic and nearby Bus stop. No proper options for family seating and I will recommend not to visit for ur fooding options if u r with ur family.
Not too luxurious nor too inexpensive. Moderately priced with a huge water cooler catering to all guests, An oasis sort under the scorching sun in Malwa rocky plains; feed on ice creams is a must.Food is a vegetarian affair offering typical Gujarati, Rajasthani, and local Madhya Pradesh cuisines along with lassi, chaaz,It's a clean place. Chef and staffs are cordial and take due diligence to customize food ( like Jain food or without tomato etc). Quite helpful with a service oriented mindset.Go for Paneer Butter Masala if you love that spicy yet soft paneer (cottage cheese) pieces diced in tomato curry with generous butter on it.Ample car parking, toilet facilities, landscaped gardens, jhoolas (palanquins), kids play area are available, A nice halt from Indore to get refreshed and proceed to Maheshwari.
Delicious food and sitting facility in restaurant and outdoor as well, have best atmosphere for family and something are undwr under development as said by manager......................
Maheshwar's dining options are limited, but almost anyone you ask recommends Gurukripa. Walk down the entire bazaar road to the talkies junction, cross over to the bus-stop side, look for small place called Gurukripa on the left, enter and take a seat. Donât be dissuaded by the humble appearance of the place, instead let your tastebuds play judge for a change. I had the tastiest north-Indian food in my life there. Ever. The food is really at a different level, and an unlimited thali costs an incredibly reasonable 60 rupees (like, 1 dollar). I returned there for every meal during my stay, and despite always being the only woman in the room no one stared or passed idiotic comments, they were in fact least interested. I canât decide whether that says a lot about me, or speaks well of them, or just points to the level the food reaches â maybe itâs all three. The restaurant is run by two polite, smiling Sardar brothers and their father. They refill your plate with hot rotis and vegtables and dal before you need it, and persuade you to have a little more when you refuse any more food ("ek aur roti to lijiye") - true Punjabi hospitality. I spotted a clean and orderly kitchen, the food is served hot and fresh, the menu changes completely for lunch and dinner, leaving me with no worries about falling ill later. I don't know how they make a profit at that rate. I suspect they don't.
Lunch & Dinner are served hot. Food is spicy and finger lickering. The serving guys are cooperative. They are now arranging washing facility for cars also.
A very good place for tasty and hot food.Made to order spiciness adds to acceptance level among the guests.Very nice preparation.Servicing needs improvement.May be shortage of staff affecting servicing.Very spaciously arranged guest tables adds grace to Hotel.A must visit Hotel in Maheshwar for sure.

Labboo'z Café and Lodge is built into the gate house of the majestic 16th century Ahilya Fort. Its 5 rooms are atmospheric and comfortable with air conditioning and ensuite bathrooms. Meals at the café are simple Indian cuisine with several western dishes
We were not sure what to expect when we first arrived as our room was literally on top of the gate into the old city. It was a quirky room which had all the facilities we needed and wonderful views over the city from the terraces that surrounded the room. A chair on the terrace would have been a nice addition. The food was wonderful and cooked freshly so needs to be ordered an hour before required. The staff appeared rather dismissive at first, but warmed during our three night stay. They were always helpful.I am delighted you liked the "quirky" nature of the room! Did not want to break up the large central space where the bed is.We will definitely put chairs on the terrace. THANKS FOR THE TIP.Glad you liked the food. regardsr holkar
